It is bitterly cold here. Hope that you soon warm up Stroppy.

I've just put the car away and it was telling me that it is plus 1 which I find hard to believe as it feels a lot colder.

We had a dusting overnight but it's pretty much gone now.

Afternoon all. We've had bright sunshine all day but it's been bitterly cold. When I went out this morning, the car was telling me it was minus 3. I must admit though, other parts of the country have far worse weather than we have.
Hope that everyone stays safe.

I just went down the garden with Molly and it wasn't cold at all, it's much warmer than it was first thing, but even then we didn't have frost.

Hi CG. How are Chickengrandpa and your granddaughter? Hope that they are feeling better.

But did you enjoy yourself CB? It's still bitterly cold here. There's a lot to be said for hibernation when the weather's cold.

I don't know what it's like right now, but it was surprisingly warm this afternoon, ........well, perhaps not warm lol, but nowhere near as cold as it has been recently.
Hubby's much the same thanks books, he only went and bought a greenhouse and he's been painting all the pieces today with cuprinol! He has good days and bad, today was better than yesterday.
Granddaughter seems to have finally got over whatever it was. They never did find out.

That's good news over your granddaughter CG and I am pleased that Chickengrandpa seems to be feeling better right now. I hope that he enjoys his new greenhouse.

Evening all
Bit sporadic with my posting at the moment as spend a lot of the evening on the phone to S as she is confined again and can't visit every evening
Bitterly cold here again today and can see me scraping again in the morning
Day out sounds nice CB even if you didn't find anything.
Whats he planning on growing CG ?? or is it a see what takes his fancy
03-02-2015 9:33 PM
I can't see him having time to grow anything to be honest, but there again, he's still going when they said he wouldn't be, so you never know. I think he wants to be able to get his seeds in earlier, so when spring comes he'll have a head start.
At least it's giving him something to do now he hasn't got the chickens and ducks.

Sounds like a good idea CG. He needs to keep occupied.:)

Afternoon all. It is still cold here and we have a little bit of a breeze about.

Hey up everybody. Cold here but I must have a bath, so there we go - radiators on, kettle on for cuppa afterwards, onesie at the ready. I got a nice new one yesterday in a sale, blue camouflage print, but it's massively long in the legs, think I'll have to use braces round the waist!
04-02-2015 5:10 PM
I've just got back from the post office and it's perishing outside.
Like the sound of your onesie Mouse. I don't really think I'd fancy a onesie though. They'd be warmer during the cold winter nights but I tend to go to the loo a few times during the night and I'd end up freezing.

Indeed the lavatory angle is the only drawback I see to a onesie. Well, that and looking a prannet, but I don't really care about that aspect. Mine are for daywear - if I had one on in bed I probably would get tangled in the sheets with it
