Safety Data Sheet request

I've recently ordered something and asked the seller for a Safety Data Sheet. The seller sent me a link which didn't work, and then asked for my email. I didn't want to share my email address. Is there a better way for sellers to send documents to their customers? 

I suggested sending it to my @members.ebay.com address, but the seller claimed it didn't work. Is that true?

All that tells me is that I'm not actually allowed to share my email address with sellers. But how can I get a safety document for an item which was already dispatched?

I've asked the seller to add the Safety Data Sheet to the listing. Hopefully this will be enough, considering that the listing tool has a place to upload documents.
