I want to give feedback re a seller from whom I bought an item but I don't know how many stars to give for "seller communication" because we didn't communicate with each other as there was no need to. Therefore, can I skip giving any stars for that, but, if so, would that be taken to mean I'd be giving zero stars as in saying the communication was awful? Around the xmas period I bid for and won an item. 12 days later after giving the seller a chance,I was still waiting,for dispatch. Raised a INR case. Then magically received a refund,no apologies no explanation. So what would you do,forget about it and move on.Or give them a bloody nose(hypothetically speaking of course) and leave appropriate negative feedback. Anyway,cut a long story short.Neg feedback was left.Yet checked his feedback recently.Yes you've guessed it, EBAY has removed it. I've recently had an issue with a seller, the seller has best offer on the item and so I sent a message asking if they'd accept an amount for just one of the two items in the listing. The sellers response was rude and curt ending in lots of exclamation marks and saying 'not worth it' I offered £6 for an item listed as 13£ for two. Was happy to go higher but he didn't give me a chance, as then when I decided I'd just buy the two items I've found I've been blocked. This is bad customer service for a seller, he could've made a sale. I have 100% feedback I sell and buy things. I'm a private seller. I would never react so abruptly or rude to an potential buyer. And for no reason block them. This seller is supposedly high rated good feedback. I can't work this out with the attitude I received how. There needs to be a way for buyers to block sellers and also ebay should let blocked users know why they have been blocked and explain their side with evidence. Using seller report is only for extreme cases or if a transaction has happened and needs resolving. So what can we do to make sure buyers are treated with respect by sellers? And vice versa, sellers don't deserve uncourteous behaviour. Potential buyers should be made aware of sellers with nasty attitudes. Customer service is still the key rule of selling.  ... View more

I paid £42 for a pair of boots which said they were in excellent condition. When I received them, there were some significant marks that weren't listed in the text.  Hi all,   I have been stressing out for the past week or so and just wanted to get some reassurance from you guys.   I have purchased a high value item last week and it was expected to be dispatched during that week, however the seller has come up with several excuses (working, not able to go to the post office, car broken down) and it seems like I may have been duped.   The expected delivery date is tomorrow and I would like to open a INR and just ask for a refund, however I'm worried that the seller may reject the refund and dispatch the item and will probably send an empty box or box of paper.   Worse case scenario, I'm I able to open a I didn't Receive the item case and if the seller does dispatch the item and it's not what I'm expecting. I'm I still able to open a Item Not As Describe case (whilst closing the INR case)?   What other options do I have?   Also the seller seems reputablewith 1k+ Feedback & 100%   Any advise would be much appreciated ... I ordered a book before Christmas from an international seller and was happy to have grabbed a copy as it is out of print and this seemed to be in good condition and from what seemed to be an honest seller. A few days ago I got notification that my delivery from Pitney Bowes would be with me soon and I was a bit confused as I've never heard of them and couldn't understand what I'd ordered.   Today the delivery arrived and it seems they are a carrier for Hermes or something. I opened it up and there was a broken PS1 lid inside it. I've never owned a Playstation and certainly hadn't ordered a lid so immediately thought my bank card had been cloned or something, but checking my accounts everything seemed fine. I got in touch with Pitney Bowes and they weren't much help but in the meantime I cross referenced the Hermes tracking that they'd supplied and it matched with the ebay order I'd made.   I was and am gutted. It wasn't cheap and I've obviously been scammed. Never happened before. I immediately opened a case and left a negative (and slightly rude) review.   The seller has immediately contested it, refused my return and has replied simply saying  "End. Deal with Ebay or Ebay will deal with you!" What do I do!! The seller does actually have a clean slate across their previous reviews, going back a few years too, but that doesn't help me at all and leaves me with a dirty broken PS1 lid that I don't want!!   ... I have a Chinese seller who is playing me. The sale was deficient an item that would cost £19 to buy. He offered to send it and a £5 refund if I withdrew my open issue.  Clearly, I asked for resolution first.  After much prevarication hetold me to return the item for a refund - and sent £3.82 to PayPal for postage costing £10.45.  I'm at Day 18 - so only 3 days left - but with the item marked for return, I cannot open a case with ebay to step in. If I sent the item, I'm £7 further out of pocket with almost no chance that the seller will confirm receipt of the item and refund me. How do I resolve?  ... View more
