As a buyer can I open up a INR and a NAD case afterwards?

 Hi all,

I have been stressing out for the past week or so and just wanted to get some reassurance from you guys.

I have purchased a high value item last week and it was expected to be dispatched during that week, however the seller has come up with several excuses (working, not able to go to the post office, car broken down) and it seems like I may have been duped.

The expected delivery date is tomorrow and I would like to open a INR and just ask for a refund, however I'm worried that the seller may reject the refund and dispatch the item and will probably send an empty box or box of paper.

Worse case scenario, I'm I able to open a I didn't Receive the item case and if the seller does dispatch the item and it's not what I'm expecting. I'm I still able to open a Item Not As Describe case (whilst closing the INR case)?

What other options do I have?

Also the seller seems reputablewith 1k+ Feedback & 100%

Any advise would be much appreciated

Yes, you can open an INR after 24 have passed from the latest expected delivery date! If then whatever arrives, and it’s SNAD then you can absolutely open a SNAD case!

There’s quite a lot of scammy sellers on eBay atm, so be alert - and all the best!

You haven't told us how you paid so we can't give a "definite" answer, but provided you paid by a qualifying method (and the item itself is eligible for eBay's money back guarantee) you should be covered.

To qualify, you must have paid through eBay's checkout, using PayPal or PayPal Credit, a credit card, debit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay. Note the 30 day time limit, and don't be talked into letting it pass, whatever excuses the seller makes.

It may be possible, if necessary, to convert an item not received case into an item not described case, but do NOT close the original case or you won't be able to open another one.

Most buyers who lose out do so because they've simply never bothered to read the terms, conditions, exclusions and time limits for eBay's money back guarantee. Don't make this mistake, you can find full details here: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/money-back-guarantee.html

Read Ebay's Money Back Guarantee for full information. There's a link to it on every listing, in various other places across the site, and on your order confirmation.

Note too that everything you need to know about using Ebay is in the Help pages with their integral search (links at top and foot of any page).
