I have been selling on eBay since 2006, and have seen so many changes, made by eBay, mostly for the benefit of buyers, not sellers, that its demise is not in the slightest bit surprising.
I have given up on even pushing, or adding any new listings on eBay, as I feel there is no use in doing so any more. I made only 12 sales last month (November) which is dire.
IMO the help centre is of no use to anyone, and is obviously just a list of sock replies, with zero human intellect, which helps no one. I also find there is absolutely no point in having a returns' policy, when eBay just automatically except returns without any engagement with buyers, there is also no point in trying to engage over feedback, no matter how harmful, when eBay seems happy to sit back and ignore any requests. Perfect example being, when I got left neutral feedback for an item, that I didn't even supply. When I approached eBay, they said I had to sort it out with the buyer.
It is dire, and IMO is not going to get any better, any time soon, when eBay is happy to sit back, even though we ALL lose out by having no sales.

eBay are totally failing businesses, totally.
I have had seven days of sales in the last month, one sale of any worth in December, two in total, where the profit was wiped out by ebay fees for my shop. In days gone by at this time of year I'd be taking 15-20 items to post on a Monday in December, today I have none, no sales since last Wednesday !
This is depite listing several thousand pounds of new stock in the last week.
If it doesn't improve very rapidly, I will close it all down.
And as an eBay rep at CS actually said to me last week, open as a private seller with no fees !!
I know of 2/3 in my line that have done just that, closed up and opened 2/3 even four accounts as a private seller with no fees. eBay is clearly no longer the place for businesses anymore, unless you want to give away all your profit to eBay through their rip-off Promoted listings, which has seen ebay highly manipulate the search engine so it is no longer a search engine anymore.
