Pictures missing using APP

I cannot view any pictures for any listing using the eBay APP. The main picture does appear for a second and then disappears.

I have tried reinstalling the APP, clearing the cache etc. The APP is now useless using the android tablet. The tablet uses android 7.0 and is about 7 years old. Will now delete the APP and use the browser instead or is there a fix for the APP?

It's not that long ago that ebay was pushing us to use the app ... now theyve decided to limit its use to those that have the most modern phones.  Disgraceful conduct by ebay ... but exactly what we've come to expect from them.  Customer service is abysmal and they don't give a toss.

I’ve no intention of buying a new phone just to use eBay, I’ve been spending money on eBay for 21 years now, if they don’t want my money unless I buy a new phone then I’ll use Amazon instead - simple

I called eBay this morning they said it wasn’t they’re fault it was apples fault so I need to buy a new phone / ask apple to sort it out , what a bad attitude from such a big company

I’ve not been able to use my phone for 3 days now because it won’t run iOS 17 I’ve spent nothing for 3 days - keep it up ebay your ruining a great place to buy, I bet Amazon are loving it

Hi, I'm using samsung Galaxy s20 fe, and today the app has stopped being able to access my photo gallery. I cannot upload photos to create a listing. Very frustrating. I've uninstalled the app. Powered down the phone. Reinstalled the app.  Same problem.

Ebay - since your update your app has a flaw/ bug.  The best thing you can do is admit it rather than blame Android. Why make an update that isn't compatible with millions of your  users ?? Upon selecting photos for listings- I can only access four albums . Screenshots,  camera & downloads & favourites. I used to be able to see EVERY album. I allow access to every album in settings & it worked perfectly fine all last week & beyond.   Firstly the best thing you can so is ADMIT theres an issue & not hide behind oh it must be your device/ the wifi/ your settings. NO . . This along with bad buyers STOP / DETER me from using the site. Honestly you have so many unresolved problems. . I've cleared cache cookies & uninstapled app. It's NOT my device. It's your app. It's such a miserable app experience. Please don't suggest the website as I hate it. It's even worse than the app & every photo upon listing flickers! . The app is supposed to be easier. It isn't. I was literally listing earlier today& had access to All my photo albums. Now only 4. There user to be a "Browse" button to see EVERY single album you have in your gallery. That's gone too ! Why.!?? Pathetic app & its Ebays fault . So frustrating & it takes you months to remedy any technical report. For a billion dollar platform why can't you get things right so your users can actually list things to create fees & generate money for YOU !?  I'm using Samsung S21FE which operates 10 . It's always an AI or generic response ! I am operating on Samsung S21FE & I can only view 4 albums upon listing.  There's 50 to choose from. So it's causing a lot of inconvenience. I completely understand why  Ebay are losing users. They can't get the app right but I thought being a billionn$ company they'd have an amazing technical team. Seems not

I've been told today it's OS 10 or above. I'm on OS14 my handsets less than 2 years old & I can't access all my albums when I list. Very frustrating.  Workarounds by other members are just a temp fixes. We need a proper response.  It's clearly a huge technical issue that remains unresolved

I have been with you since 2008. Almost 20 years

I have reported the technical fault TWICE. Before the update I could access ALL albums & every gallery photo. I toggle ALL access for the Ebay app. Cache is cleared & I an operating above OS10 Which is the minimum requirement. I am on OS14

Therefore please explain why users SUDDENLY can't access ALL gallery albums when listing??

Please take accountability that there IS a technical issue that Ebay refuse to acknowledge or fix. I understand the announcement regarding older operating systems but I have the latest version

Can you understand & appreciate that millions of your sellers are angry frustrated & now each listing is taking me too long. You are deterring me from using the site & I am now having to use better selling platforms because Ebay won't reply to any messages or Aby community forums. Because the technical team yet again have RUINED. A perfectly good app. WHEN will there be a fix for this unresolved problem

What's going on is Ebay are in denial that their technical team have caused a huge technical error when updating the app. This happens EVERY time & eventually after weeks/  months there's an admission & a fix.  In the interim they lose users because they refuse to admit there's a problem.  Hence lots of frustrated sellers on the forums ! I'm on OS 14.  The minimum.required is 10 yet I STILL after 1 week can't list anything as I can't access all my albums despite giving the app full.access to all pics & updating to the latest version.  I've moved to a better platform so Ebay have lost their fees. Not sure what they expect when help are AI or just ignore requests.

Hi. This issue has now been fixed. I just found out from another user.  If you uninstall then reinstall. Then go to your phone settings, select apps then select Ebay & press storage, clear cache.  Then go bk into eBay & sell or draft- you'll see the gallery & browse button as before then ALL your photos should be able to be selected.  Hope this helps
