Good Morning Petal & Margie, I'm just back from a walk round in the glorious Sunshine shining out of a clear Blue sky. In the Sun, it's nice and warm, in the shade it's quite cold.

Yesterday was very icy and the car and puddles frozen. However, dry and free from wind, so we hiked for hours over the hills .

Today, no ice, but cold, somewhat dull. It even looks cold. Normal 90 minute walk / swim/ ball play though we went through the mine fields.

There were 32 coal mines along the hillside we walked today. Some shaft sites are fenced off, others are just deep holes, presumably filled in but leaving a 6/8ft funnel shaped dip. Some of those might have been air shafts.
