Will Cornick the teenager was 15 years old when he stabbed teacher Ann Maguire,61, to death as she taught at a class at Corpus Christi Catholic Colledge, in leeds in April.
He excchanged messages with a friend early on Christmas day on Facebook. ''In those messages he spoke of 'brutally killing' Mrs Maguire and spending the rest of his life in jail so as not to have to worry about life or money.''
He continues to show no remorse. If ever someone was evil it must be him. The only sentence for him surly is a whole life sentence.
At the moment the judge say's 20 years in prison, and he may serve a whole life sentence. Why give him any hope? He did not give Ann, any. And who should have this monster living next door to them without knowing it? The judges perhaps?
Warning there is a picture of Will Cornick on my attachment.

I have to agree with what you say,
These repeated attacks on women cannot be sorted by a slap on the wrist & a light sentence it must be soul destroying for the Police especially as it's known very often it ends up as a murder!.
As far as I know hearsay without any back up proof although you can report it can't be acted on as you say until they carry that out the crime!
The police even with all the evidence are frequently thwarted by these do gooders who rush forward with help for. the criminal, mental health reports, anger management ,help with drug & alcohol addiction, education, courses etc , etc, all paid for by the people they prey on in all forms of nasty antisocial manner, ironic that isn't it?
They get more chances than the ordinary law abiding people who are struggling to make ends meet.
We are so frightened to express our disgust about the ingrates we have in our midst'
We should instead be giving our full support to the men & women on the frontline of these lowlife & stop this soft approach to all crime!.
I'm all for a tough approach to criminals but I also advocate crime prevention!

Very sad but how were the events of this case influenced by Do-Gooders other than the amazing social worker who supported her?

Because in the past, perpetrators would be kept under lock and key after early offences but now they're allowed out on bail. I believe women should be loved and cherished and the moment a man puts his hands on a woman in anger, it's time for a permanent parting of the ways.

Believe me, there's a part of me who would like to line them all up and shoot the feckers, especially the scum involved in domestic violence!

Seeing what happens to those brave souls puts off anyone else from trying the same stunt.
Well thank heavens for Brave souls, it's a shame they don't get the backing of those ducking for cover!
The problem seems to be too few prepared to stand up and be counted!

Further to that if you voice your dissatisfaction , you are accused of being vengeful, inhuman, callous & all other suchlike names.
So what?
Just tell them to get fecked as you will proudly stand for what you believe is right!!!

The Prison Reform Trust and the Howard League have quite a bit to answer for.
I think very young offenders should be made to watch the film "Scum", it might help turn them away from crime.......?
As to overcrowding, in the last four years, twelve prisons have been closed and at least two partially closed.

I agree entirely. Domestic violence is very difficult though, yes I see why bail should not be granted but then people are innocent until proven otherwise. I do believe that better measures to protect vulnerable victims could and should be taken.
No one should suffer violence nor accept excuses for it, a parting of ways should take place immediately!

Trouble is Lambsy in these type of crimes you have to have the co-operation of the victim & they very often don't carry it through, which I think is why the police are reluctant to interfere, & then as ive said before it very often ends in a death.
How can you prevent a crime if you don't know what's going on, these guys present themselves to others as a nice guy, how often do you hear , " what! But he was such a great fellow, I don't believe it!!."
Not all crime is preventable but some could be more so with a little effort. Anyway the prevention of domestic violence is a far cry from acting on violent tendancies being presented by a teenager.
Domestic violence is so difficult because, as you allude to, the victim can have all sorts of emotions and pressures bearing upon them and it must be like crawling through mud for law enforcement.

This country prided itself on tough justice & speaking, we fought wars to keep that freedom of speech, now we mustn't offend anyone with truth because of political correctness, consequently we now have become a nation of having to look over our shoulders in case we are accused of this that or the other, if a few more people stood up & spoke the truth & not what they think others want to hear We may even regain that pride, but don't hold your breath.
I blame the Scotts; those who want to be seen to be more "Socially Aware" than the rest of the UK. Successive governments feel they have to pander to left-wing social caring rhetoric in order to win an election! I prefered the 70s and 80s when the two main parties stood diametrically opposed and faught toe-to-toe for what they believed in.
Now they say and do anything to cover the middle ground!

I don't know the answer I wish I did!. This crime that started this thread is one of many occurring in this country, it seems to me there is no respect anymore for life, age, sex. I still believe it's a breakdown in values in the home, when all said & done before they ever reach a school that is where your first lessons start?.
There may be a breakdown that is supported by our ready acceptance of single-parent families, however I don't believe we have any more problems now than in the past; perhaps different ones.

I don't know if there's any link between the current lack of respect for life but there's very aggressive, nay violent video games of all sorts. When you've done all sorts of things, then stop and re-start the game again, all the "people" you've "killed" have all come back to life again.....
Fantasy/reality all mixed up?
