Re: revertng back to classic view in messages

It's not possible.

Many are reporting their dislike of this new messaging format,  you are not alone.

Bottom right of my messaging page is a link to leave feedback.

If everyone leaves feedback maybe,  just maybe eBay will listen.

Re: revertng back to classic view in messages

It is how these Corporations are working these days, well more like 'allowed' to work this way.
They force you whatever comes to their little heads!

eBay has even 'probably' accepted to work with Microsoft - see how they want you to login with Windows Hello!

Yeah right, I wonder why!
Wait until Microsoft AI comes ...

Please use the feedback button on the lower right of the new layout and let them know what you think?

Re: revertng back to classic view in messages

Can somebody put a picture of the new messaging please. I'm pretty sure I have the old style still and nothing has changed.

Also with regards to the feedback button, seriously? eBay dont listen to us minions, if they did the site wouldn't have so many bugs, so many pointless changes and would actually be working a lot better. I know the official reason eBay stopped inviting sellers (their customers) to HQ for feedback and open forums but its a terrible excuse considering how badly the site is 'working' now.

Re: revertng back to classic view in messages

Yes, already done it.
It even hurts my eyes!

Cannot stand it, and I am not a person that does not like or do changes, my whole life is full of changes, not scared of it - it is when also it is forced upon you... just 'childish'
Thanks

Re: revertng back to classic view in messages

The new messenger is a big pile of garbage. On the phone app sometimes the message from a buyer is truncated and it CANNOT be opened on the phone app!!, I have to go on the computer just to read a message. Plus you can't even paste messages into the area anymore which is rubbish as I need to send generic confirmation messages to our buyers for every purchase.

it's a Joke, this is a meant to be a top tier selling platform, not bloody yahoo messenger from the 90's. Honestly ebay, get a  grip.

Indeed hard to see how this got rolled out wrapping lines halfway through words like this!

Another bug I found yesterday, it seems to strip out apostrophes from the message after sending
