The manual says 120v. We`re 240v in the UK. Didn`t say that on the site. Doesn`t work. "Get an electrician" says the American seller. Another £40? Just lost my winter fuel allowance, and now this. Great service!
Of ALL the wall-plug-in heaters with great reviews.....I had to pick this one.
Ebay`s no help. Got an a/c somewhere....but can I access it? Going round in circles.
Dunelm does something similar. I`ll get my Carer to get one.

In USA where you purchased it from its 120v, UK EU is 240v.

An electrician will not be able to make it work
Send it back for a refund
You cannot use 110v items in UK we use 240v
An electrician cannot change the whole UK electricity system so it works
Only buy electrical equipment from the UK.
(Try Argos for cheap SAFE heaters - they may have a sale on and they won't burn your house down!)

A word with Trading Standards is in order.
No mention of the voltage on the site, only on page 2 of the leaflet; Naughty.
Thank you all.
Frank.

Question; who allowed this item into the UK? A word with Trading Standards I think.
Thank you all for the comments.
Frank.
