Unable to list on desktop for the last 2 weeks

Hi, Please can someone or Ebay help me?

I usualy list everyday using ready made templates, google chrome and my laptop. For the last two weeks when i try to list new items i have been having problems. I finish up my listing , click on list with displayed fees and it seems to get stuck loading then doesnt create the listing. I open ebay in a new tab and get the error message 

We have looked looked everywhere, looks like this page is missing, if you still need help visit our help pages. 

Ive done all the usual things like remove cookies, tried with firefox and also incognito mode but it still the same. 

Ive reached out to ebay customer service a few times but they keep telling me IT have checked and there is no issues. Ive spoke to management and they give me a link to upload a screenshot of the error message which I have done, but I have not heard anything and this was about 5 days ago. 

Listing on my mobile app works fine but its taking me ages to do and its driving me crazy.  

Can anyone recommend a fix for this please?

Hi bamboovintageclothing, thanks for your reply.

Just to update you on this, the tech team was able to replicate the issue and they are currently working on it to get it resolved.  They have also confirmed that this is affecting a small number of accounts, so I will add to this report that your account, lisas-loft-is-full-of-goodies, is also being impacted, so they can resolve that for you as well.

Once they confirm to me that this is full resolved, I will post back here to let you know.

Marco, its been nearly 6 weeks since I reported this problem. Ive sent screen shots and videos, spent hours on the phone trying to get this sorted. Im sitting here trying to list and the problem is still happening.

Please can I get this resolved, my traffic is suffering and my sales are down. Its getting really frustating.

Is there a ticket number or an Alert number that other users can mention when contacting customer service about this issue? Lots of users on ebay.com are apparently experiencing this issue as well.

hi i have a windows desktop. updated, latest browsers. can't upload from it at all. only the phone works and that is a terrible small thing to be working with. The app does not have my templates either. Getting fed up and will just sell on vinted if this continues.

Hi marco, I cant revise or upload new items via my desktop. What have you changed? Ebay used to work quite well  but it's very bad at the moment for sellers.

sorry to reply again but I have managed to get my stuff done by using microsoft edge. I was unable to use Safari on a mac, chrome, or brave browsers to update or submit new listings. Can you fix this please? I can't use Edge on all my devices.

I'm getting the same with Chrome, Iagging happens when I am listing items and typing the description, well with the latter i can boil a kettle and by the time it's boiled only 2 sentences have appeared.

Cleared cache, logged in/out, changed browser, no avail and my  RAM for Chrome is decent.

I think it's an update to the UI on eBay's server side that's causing the glitches.

Cant understand why they dont fix it. The issue has been happening for so long I have given up trying to list any new items. Sales are dropping by the day. Thank you Ebay.

I've had this problem the last 2-3 weeks, Chrome, Edge and Firefox. It only seems to be an issue when creating listings and claring cookies and cache may resolve it temporarily, driving me crazy !

This has been an error for a very long time.  Does not matter which browser you use it will hang after very few tries.  The only way I gat around it is to upload no more than 4 photos at a time and save as draft although this is not always sucessfull.  If is does crashes I switch to another browser to complete the next step.  Military precision required!

Also we get a the same freezeing browser when changing the main Title test.

The internet is awash with peope describing the same problem in many different ways but never anything constructive from eBay on how to solve it.

It's just started happening to me,  completed a listing with photos and decription then after clicking on List item with Displayed Fees,  it ' hangs'  showing a completely blank page.

Reading through another thread to gain some insight there is one way I've found to make this work.

Normally people use .jpeg images in eBay, most camera's default to this format.  When I convert the jpg to png files eBay allows me upload succesfully 24 images with the dreaded browser freeze.

All good except we still have to insert an extra step - converting our camera's jpg's to png files (there are many free utilities to do this).

It started happening to me this morning.  I managed to create a listing but when clicking sell similar it became greyed out.

The only way to create a new listing was to come out of eBay and go back in.

i use google not chrome...

Again, a question to eBay, why has this not been resolved? How can we run a business on your platform if we can not do a simple task such as list a new item. This is not a problem affecting 1 or 2 accounts. If you browse through the eBay.com technical problem pages on the community you will see hundreds of people complaining about the same issue. 

Its been happening for months, so why not fix it? This doesn't make any sense. 

To keep the algorithm happy I need to list daily. It was taking hours to get one or two listings live, I need to list 18 a day, so I just gave up. 

Ever since I stopped listing daily, my traffic has dropped and my sales have tanked. It's clearly visible on the graph on my eBay. 

Sorry EBay but to leave this issue unresolved for months is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

I've been having the same problem with listings for the past 5 weeks. I contacted customer services on three occasions using chat, and was told to delete cookies etc - I explained that I had already done that many times, was then told to change browser - did that from Microsoft to Chrome, still didn't work. I can write the listings fine, but when I try to change the postage, or click on list item, the circle appears and goes round and round and round. After that the usual "It's not you it's us" message appears on screen....

I was also told that it was my computer that was at fault - it's not.

I've written two private messages here, one to Marco, and haven't received a reply and the situation is continuing. 

I don't possess a smart phone and so can't list things that way.

This really is getting tedious.
