It's an ongoing glitch that was first reported in 2022......

The same has happened to me as well as the postage fee 😔

This is happening to me also, but only on some listings. Also, when I send an offer, it automatically adds the 20% VAT. How do we resolve this please. So annoying. I only was made aware when a buyer emailed me to ask why I was charing extra on an item.
This makes me weary : (
Thanks

Yep same thing happened to me and I have already had an angry buyer assuming it's me that's put the price up

Ebay are aware of this glitch, the same thing has happened to me except some auctions listed actually say that 20% VAT will be added to the final selling price. My "buy it now" items just have had 20% added to what i have listed them at including postage. When i had an online chat the customer service rep said the technical team were looking into it but didnt know when the problem would be fixed

I just revised my live listings and it fixed the issue for me. I didn't make any adjustments as the original price is correct in the draft but once saved it updated the listing to its correct original price. Had to wait about 5 mins for it to become visible though.

Yes 3-5 mins for me but it did take me nearly an hour to relist every item.
It also removed the "+ 20% Vat will be applied" to items that had bids on so hopefully the listings will stay as they should....... hopefully

I havd updated the previous fix, you dont need to relist, you only need to revise so your 80% off still applies. It took me nearly an hour revise mine but all have returned to their pre glitch price

Hi, despite two calls to eBay this is still happening. Sorry would you just explain how you solved it. Just relist? Or revise individually?
Thank you
Lou

It was late last night and i should have used the word revise instead of relist.
You have to revise each item individually. It does take upto 5 mins to update

If you are effected there is a fix.
this has worked for many sellers.
Bulk edit " all your items in one go via the " Manage Active listings "
Just select edit all dont change anything and press submit all . It will take about 5-10 minutes for the listing to update after the edit but this should revert the price back to normal.
