I’m hoping someone here can help finally escalate this.
It has now been almost four months since I first reported a technical issue that prevents me from creating or revising any listings on my account. Each time I try to list an item, I receive the following error:
“You can’t currently create new listings or revise existing listings.
Please resolve open issues to resume selling. Go to your Messages for more details. {e282030-1281753x}”
What makes this situation especially confusing is that my eBay account has been officially reinstated, confirmed multiple times by Customer Service, yet I still receive this error message every single time I attempt to list or revise anything.
What makes it even more frustrating is that the original suspension was only due to my seller account being considered “too new”, and nothing more. That issue was resolved months ago—but the technical restriction remained.
I’ve attempted numerous solutions suggested by Customer Service and other users online (clearing cache and cookies, trying different browsers, different devices, etc.), but none of them have worked.
I have contacted Customer Service repeatedly over the last four months. Several agents have told me the issue was escalated to the IT department, but I’ve never received a meaningful update, timeframe, or confirmation that anyone is actively working on it. My account is in good standing, with no open issues visible on my dashboard.
At this point, I feel completely stuck—unable to sell, unable to revise old listings, and unable to get clarity on what’s happening behind the scenes.
Could someone please:
Re-escalate this case to the correct technical team
Provide a clear status update
Confirm who is handling the issue
Give an estimated timeframe for resolution
Four months is far too long for a technical restriction without communication, especially when it prevents me from using the platform entirely.
