Staring a few weeks ago, when I search, the results frequently appear in gallery view. When I click "customize", the search preference window appears and shows my preference is set to "list view". I click "apply changes" and the search re-sets to list view. But when I change the search term I get gallery view again. I go into customize, and again I see my preference is set to list view. So why did it ever appear in gallery view?
How can I fix this annoyance permanently?
