Make Offer - auto payment (paypal) failing

I have tried a couple of time to Make an Offer, get accept to have the auto Paypal charge to fail.

But it goes through if I use the Pay Now and the same PayPal account it goes through?

I'd like to know if you can disable the auto pay after getting an offer accepted, as I don't get the chance to select the postage method. It's very frustrating to find that auto pay has selected delivery with EVRI  to my home address , when they won't deliver to me! If Evri is the chosen method of delivery, I always choose "click and collect", which autopsy doesn't allow for.

If anyone can help, I'd be very grateful.........thank you 😊

I came on the ask the same question. I DO NOT WANT AUTO PAY. There may not be the money in the bank at some time. I more often buy rather than sell but if they do not change this I will just have to leave. It's one thing after another and I am too old to keep having this ridiculous changing time and time again. There! I think you can feel how annoyed I am.  ☹️ 🤣

Apparently it’s the seller who authorises autopay. I think it’s because so many have been caught out by people offering on goods and then not paying up.
I now don’t bother buying unless “ click and collect” is offered. If I make an offer, I contact the seller first and ask them to disable autopay. There’s supposed to be a “disable” facility on the auction page, but I haven’t found it yet🤪. Good luck😊
