I've received a message regarding an item I am selling for £2,500 - they have offered to pay the asking price plus a postage fee (although I stated shipping was free). The buyer wants me to send a payment request through PayPal to enable them to pay but I have explained this can be done by clicking "buy". The buyer has 100% positive feedback (over 400 reviews) as a buyer and seller. They have had their account since 2003. Why would the buyer want me to do this? Could I be being played here? Quick question. As a new seller on ebay, any idea how long paypal/ebay hold the paypal funds? I sold two German Badges and posted them off by 1st class signed for mail. After 8 days they had not arrived and so I made full refund to the buyer. Later the same day, the badges were delivered and I have asked thje buyer to refund me the payment for the badges. Despite numerous requests and two pay pal invoices, he has refused to make any payment so in consequence, he now has the badges and a refunded payment. E bay have been no help. Hi I recently sold an Iphone 8 for £230 but never received any funds as Ebay placed a hold on the payment due to me not selling for a while. The byer received the parcel last week but unfortunately the package had been opened and the phone had been stollen in transit. I am pretty sure the buyer will get his money back but where do I stand with monies owed to me? I raised a case with Royal Mail and have received a compensation cheque for £26.80 which, in my opinion is a joke as i posted the item in good faith using Royal mail first class small parcel option. Hi to everyone ! 🙂   One year ago I'd stopped selling on EBay, but now I want continue selling on EBay using wholesale suppliers. Before EBAY not asked me to show wholesale supplier agreement and now I dont want to do some mistakes.   Could you please explain how  should I act if I want back on track. I have no listings, I stopped work with wholesale for now. I will start recover my wholesale connections and do I have to provide wholesale agreements immediately to EBAY?  Please help me to understand how it is actually works? I read a lot of stories when peoples stated they need to show wholesale agreements to EBAY, but I dont understand how it actually works. This is my first negative but i dont think it is meant for me as they state the jeans are the wrong size, I dont sell jeans.  I am really upset as i go out of my way to help buyers and refund immediately if there is a problem.  I have messaged the buyer but i get no response. Using Hermes to send a parcel worth exactly £50 insured it for up to that much, it's over 2kg in weight.  The thing gave me a packing note with the address tag is it crucial to add that even though I'm not a business seller so don't accept returns on my old stuff that I'm just trying to get rid of??
