hi, im new on ebay and enjoying it. i have sold some stuff, however i sold a unit to a buyer and he paid. i charged it up before dispatch but it wasnt working properley. we have messaged and he is fine untill i get it repaired. my question is how do you inform ebay of the situation as there isnt an email i can find. and i dont want to get any point deductions on my account as i want to keep it 100% positive.   some advice would be appreciated.   Regards Paul ... i sold an electric breast pump  in working order and very good condition. But the buyer asked for a return as it was not working when she got it. As it was under warranty I offered to send her proof of purchase to claim on the warranty but she refused that. On getting the item back it was in working order and the bottles and breast shield were damaged, and even had milk still in the rubber bottle tops. I said I would offer a part refund to cover the damaged parts but she refused that and eBay blocked the funds. Later she took out a complaint and eBay refunded her, with out even contacting me to see what was happening. Dose any one know if it's  possible to dispute this as I'cant see any way of doing it ... Hi I'm confused ! I had an offer today for £25 which I accepted ( so far not paid). My auction page says current bid £30. Is it possible someone bid £30 ( I was unaware of the bid ) and then Ebay allows an offer to be sent below the current bid ( guzumping to current bidder). Why would anyone accept an offer lower than a bid except by mistake? I assumed the offer was higher than any bids. I can't get info on the buyer who bid the £30. Do they just get a message - hey the highest bid you made has been beaten by a cheaper offer and the auction is over ?  I feel bamboozled by the logic. Also - since i have another one to auction I'd like to message the bidder to let them know they can bid again. Their full details are not showing in the bid history. I know it my fault is I accept an offer. Just never occurred to me an offer would be delivered lower than the current bid. Ebay are not around the discuss so any help to clarify what's happened would be much appreciated. ( I seem to have done myself out of a fiver ...)  ... View more

  Sent a parcel to Luxembourg - its only been 6 days and the tracking says it is in the Lux   The buyer is kicking off about the lack of tracking info and saying they will claim a refund off Paypal as it is late   I am not a business and it is with the couriers - surely he can't claim a refund with paypal unless it becomes a case in ebay?   Worried he is trying to scam me   ... I have sold an item on ebay however for some reason the tracking # put with the item has been changed! Idk WHY this has happened, the new one doesn't come up on royal mail but the old one still does as usual, however when I go to edit the tracking information it doesn't let me put the original one in!! Dear EBAY/ALL   Most of my ebay listings were taken away after 90 days.  Why did I not get an email from them as they say they would if no access has made.  They also said my listings are gone for good. How disgusting and loss of business.  I did not know or was made aware of this and there was not courtesy prompt email either.  Why would ebay do this.  Has anyone else had this.   I am disgusted by the no help or just do not care attitude.  My hard work of putting hours/days/months of data for each item is just gone and nothing to go by.  Ebay lost me business and for other items because of small details.  Wow sad and put off by them really.   I was told by family that items are archived compressed and then can be retrieved if they can be bothered.  But they cant for me. ... I sold a watch, Royal Mail delivered late. Before it arrived with the buyer he asked and received a full refund. Item has been delivered but the buyer has not returned the watch. eBay have refused to do anything about this. Anybody got experience of this problem ... View more

I have recently been under attack from a serial scammer.   He has dealt with 147 different sellers ( using one of his ID's ) but has left 69 Negatives 6 Neutrals for these poor victomised sellers . I reported this to eBay , they said they will investigate . . I have reported the buyer also for feedback extortion , If I give the buyer the item for free he will take off the negative feedback he has left me . Again they said they would investigate .   I emailed eBay with his dubious buying practises . Largely claiming non receipt of items to get refunds .Loads of them .   A number of sellers have contacted me regarding this fraudster , I have also been supplied with other ID's the buyer uses . I have also been led to another site outside ebay stating the same problem .  With the same scam bidder & his different ID's eBay seem to aid & abet his fraudulant behaviour .   eBay simply say they are investigating , but nothing concrete . Do you think this should be escalated to a police matter as eBay are obviously totally incompatent at policing themselves ? ... View more

Hi All, I am a new to the ebay selling platform. I used to strictly be a buyer but wanted get better value for some stuff. I recently purchased Zelda Breath of The Wild brand new factory sealed with receipt. I changed my mind about playing it and decided to sell the product on ebay unopened. I applied bubble wrapping to give the game extra layer of protection and posted the item for sale. Having successfully sold and dispatched the item as soon as possible. I woke up the following day to this message from the buyer who purchased my game. Hi I received my purchase of Zelda breath of the wild switch but there is NO GAME INSiDE THE BOX whats going on where did you get it, as I am not happy at all my son opened it in front of me he took the wrapper off opened the box and it’s empty nothing inside at all , it’s as if someone has removed the plastic wrapper and took the game cartridge out then put the wrapper back on , this needs sorting out , my son is very upset. Having seen this i know this is completely not true and the buyer is not deserving of a refund. Beside i have stated in my listing that there are no refunds as I have sent him a factory sealed product. I believe I also may have been targeted as i am a seller with no feedback. Is it just me? What is happening with listing items for sale on here?   I have sold many items on eBay and thankfully never experienced problems with listing. However, after a few months break I attempted to list a BIN item this afternoon. Past experience has shown that using my iphone is quicker and easier than laptop, however today I had to give up and use the laptop instead. The description in my drafts repeatedly disappeared after saving and I ended up rewriting the wretched thing 3 times! I know I really should have cut and pasted, but it has never happened before. It kept reverting to the basic, one sentence description taken from the Listing Title. When the description disappeared for the 3rd time and I was about to give up, I checked my trusty iphone and thankfully the draft was there intact and I was able to list the item. Phew!   As I say, I am not new to listing, but so much seems to have changed. I could not access the editing function from the Listing Preview. I could not find the facility to accept (or decline) offers over a certain sum automatically. And as for the postage ........... why can you not opt for a courier of your own choice anymore?? The only options were Royal Mail or Pack Link (which I refuse to use again as it let me down really badly and I am still out of pocket for a useless service that failed miserably).   I used to be a real advocate for selling on eBay, but after this afternoon's experience.
