Sold item last night and today, the ‘buyer’ who has not paid or been invoiced, has left a negative which eBay will not remove.
I`m curious as to how the buyer purchased an item off you one day and is able to leave a neg the next, because it normally flags up that you can`t leave a neg for 7 days (i think ) before you`ve contacted the seller to resolve any issues.
I`ve also just gone through your listings back to the 28th june and the most expensive your postage appears to be, is £2.00, so if they think that`s way too expensive, they need to stop buying on-line, but in this instance, it`s irrelevant, because as has been pointed out, if they were`nt happy with the cost, they should`nt have bought it.
I would get in touch with Ebay again and hopefully you`ll get a better rep who will see the circumstances and remove it, but i`d mention to the rep that they only bought it last night, so how can they leave a neg that fast in the first place!
The Ebay agent you spoke to needs retraining - feedback which complains about p&p costs is fully removeable as per Ebay's feedback rules, because p&p is clearly shown on every listing, giving buyers the option to buy or not to buy. However, once you've opened and closed an Unpaid Item case as 'unpaid', the feedback should disappear automatically. But if it doesn't, get back on to Ebay to get it removed, quoting their feedback rules if necessary.
Don't forget to add this idiot's Ebay ID to your Blocked Bidders List so he can't mess you around again. And tighten up your Buyer Requirements while you're there (Account...Site Preferences), to lower the risk of getting non-payers and other rogue buyers in the first place. Pay particular attention to the one which blocks those with 2+ Unpaid Item strikes in 12 months.
Buyer was invoiced by ebay as soon as item sold. Buyer should not have bought if they did not like the postage charge.
Once you have completed the unpaid case your selling fee is refunded, and if not removed automatically then you can ask for removal. Go to HELP & CONTACT and use the new Seller Help Section.
you need to complete a non payment case then the feedback will be removed
48 hours after the sale go to the Resolution Centre and open a non payment case
