I sold an autographed photo, that was clearly listed as 6 x 4 inch in size. Buyer received photo and immediately left negative feedback, stating photo was too small. I contacted Ebay and they said they will not remove the negative feedback. I have to ask myself......What else am I meant to do !! I go out of my way for buyers, so I don't receive negative feedback and then you get one idiot and Ebay sides with them. Unbelieveable !

I listed a T-Shirt, with no collection offered, only Domestic (UK) Signed For postage. I selected in the postage section: International Postage: No. I did not select any exclusion on a geographical basis, as the T-Shirt is only dispatched by post, and International Postage is not offered, which I take it means that it overides any other consideration of international inclusion or exclusion. The winning bid tonight is with an address in Russia. I cancelled the sale straight away via eBay before the winner could pay with Paypal with the reason of "a problem with the address". I blocked him but was slapped with a negative feedback before I could engage with him, this being my fourth sale. My point is I can only post to a Paypal Verified Address to be elligible for protection, that address is in Russia, and International Postage is not offered. I have not engaged with the winner since as I am seeking advice from the wisdom of the forum before I contact eBay tomorrow, to present my case if need be and have this feedback removed. So my question really is: am I on firm ground? Would I need to introduce the issue with a particular angle to sway eBay's CS? On an additional note, the buyer has given 4 negative feedbacks to the fewer 19 sellers he's ever dealt with. Lastly, I have relisted all my posted items by adding a worlwide exclusion in addition to the "no international postage" for the avoidance for any epsilon doubt.

Plastic sraws are now banned from sale in the UK because of the widespread pollution and injury and death to wildlife they cause. Ebay seems not to give a fig, and allows hundreds of sellers to continue to sell them.

Using bulk editing I added the same text to the description in all my listings. It appeared right at the bottom of the description and did not follow the other text in that it was not centrally positioned nor in the same font. When I needed to remove that text again using bulk editing it would not do it. Checking the revisions on a couple of listings, it showed I had deleted or added photos which was totally incorrect. I tried everything, copying and pasting the text, typing it out again and even applying quote marks, nothing worked. Eventually I tried exactly the same procedure to another piece of text, not one I had added using bulk listing and it worked. So be aware that if you use the procedure to add text to the description you cannot use the same procedure to remove it. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with ebay till we both gave up. The only way to remove text added by bulk editing is to remove it from each listing individually. A real pain!

I made an error and listed an item as black when it was actually a very dark navy. The buyer emailed me and demanded a full refund on its arrival. I was going to ask her to open a return (as I didn't see why she should keep the item), but instead decided it wasn't worth the hassle and expense of having to refund through a returns case. I have refunded her in full (ie the complete amount she paid including the original postage). I have now had a message from her saying she has sent back the item and a 'bill' for the return postage (twice the amount of postage I originally paid as I sent through tracked courier in a large box and she has apparently returned via Royal Mail which is more costly for large packages (not received the package yet, though). Am I obliged to pay her this return postage? She hasn't opened a returns case.

Has anyone had the same experince as I have. I scheduled 9 items to start three hours after listing them. I was pleasantly surprised to see that when they became live they had views of between 5 and 7. Three days later they have had exactly nil extra viewings on all 9 items. Is this something to do with scheduled listings?

Hi I recently sold an item for collection only where the buyer needs to provide a PIN number to allow me to mark the item as collected. The buyer forgot to provide me with the PIN and will not respond to messages sent. Any idea how I can clear this transaction as collected? Thanks in advance.

eBay says you have 48 hours or until the end of a listing to respond to an offer yet messages me to say an offer has ended as it's only valid for 24 hours! As a UK seller, there used to be an option to increase visibility in the USA and Canada, but this button seems to have vanished recently, any ideas ?

I'm facing a very strange problem related product variations while accessing through multi-user access, I'm unable to save variation after adding the product variations through multi-user access to another account but in my own account I can add variations and it's saving too. I'm also unable to save edits in already added variations by the main account and I can not edit through multi-user access. Please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks, Arslan
