Why is Ebay allowing the sale of plastic straws from hundreds of sellers ? It's illegal to sell them

Plastic sraws are now banned from sale in the UK because of the widespread pollution and injury and death to wildlife they cause. Ebay seems not to give a fig, and allows hundreds of sellers to continue to sell them.

Ebay rely on members reporting these items, they can't go through millions of items looking for those not allowed.

Somehow I doubt that ebay have updated their Prohibited Items.

Thanks for the response. I've reported several but I can't report several hundred individually. I'd expect Ebay to keep up to date with the law in the countries it operates in. The ban on sales of plastic straws has been flagged for many many, months.

It isn't 100% illegal to use them as diabetics and some others do need them.

But these have to be requested from a registered pharmacy. 

But as you rightly point out it is against the law to sell single use stirrers, plastic cotton buds and plastic straws.
