I wouldn't respond at all. I would just add their Ebay ID to my Blocked Bidders/Buyers List.

If you're saying that the total postage cost in the listing(s) was £60.18, and the postal receipt shows that it cost £60.18 to post, it's hard to see what your buyer is complaining about. If he just thinks that's too expensive, his complaint is with parcel force.

I have a feeling that we may be missing something here. If this was a multiple purchase we don't know whether or not you combined the postage, which is often a source of complaint? If you did, your buyer could reasonably have expected a reduction in cost. But if the postage shown in your postal receipt was for the amount he paid, what is he complaining about? From what you say, you didn't even charge for packing, let alone eBay and PayPal's fees.

There is no case that can be opened about postage, but if they paid the postage you quoted and they have seen the receipt, what is their problem?

Presumably there was not a cheaper alternative, and of course safe and fully insured. If it was Glass using a courier and they would provide no cover for loss or damage.

Difficult buyers can be a pain, particularly when they don't specify what exactly the complaint is so that you can explain in simple language the answer.

that is an awfully large postage amount, how many of your items did he buy?
