hi all,advice needed on angry buyer

hi i sold some items which the buyer paid for and the postal cost which was in the invoice sent through ebay sent them a picture of receipt from post office which shows it was sent by parcel force at a cost of £60.18 which the buyer had paid when paying for the items,they are now sending very angry messages about the cost of post and im really not sure how to respond to them ???

that is an awfully large postage amount, how many of your items did he buy?

3 but they where heavy pieces of glass and it went to sweden

in that case he has nothing to complain about, just ignore the messages

the last message said that they will just send it back and i will have to give a refund and pay for the postall cost of returning it can they do that ?

if they open a not as described case ebay will expect you to pay for the return costs and the original postage,


if the buyer was unhappy with the postage charge why did they pay it?

no idea why they paid thats what i dont understand,!!!!

Looks like sold through GSP, so buyer can see postage & import fees before paying,
unfortunately GSP is expensive & you can't combine P&P, although Pitney Bowes, often do when they post to buyer.

that could be where the problem has occurred, if they sold through the GSP and the OP sent them directly to the buyer

How would OP know buyer's home address, I thought they only received UK GSP address.
