Evouchers

How can sellers safely sell evouchers on eBAY? I thought the eBAY platform was a "bulletproof" one for selling items but unfortunately in my case their system has been exploited by a con buyer.

I narrowly lost everything after the sale (the buyer got his/her money back from Paypal after filing a false  "unauthorised transaction" and the code I sold him/her). I was lucky enough that Amazon refunded the entire value of the voucher to my Amazon account but I might not be so lucky next time.

Any advice?

evouchers are not covered by the ebay money back guarantee because you are not allowed to sell them on ebay.

Are you sure? Here (https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/vouchers-policy?id=4292#:~:text=Sel...) it says that electronic "scanned" vouchers are not allowed but if you have a look around you'll see plenty of them listed on ebay. Had these evouchers been completely banned from ebay don't you think ebay would have removed them all? Plus, I sought help from ebay when I got scammed and not once did they mentioned that I could not have listed it..

You should have posted item tracked to buyer, sending by email is against ebay policy because of issues you have had.
