Private seller restrictions

Can someone expalin why ebay think it's ok to now treat private sellers like dirt?

Trying to sell my items effectively today I soon discovered ebay have stopped multiple offers of postage options such as express delivery, limited the fonts size, ludicrous pathetic pastel letter colours palette smongst other things not discovered yet, why are they treating us like this it has no effect on them.

Alos can someone explain why they charge private sellers a fee for buyer protection when they're not out of pocket because they withhold the sale fees anyway, I absolutely detest this platform (that used to be good) and wish another company came from somewhere and gave them a run for their money

I have no choice but to use them I'm disabled and struggle with selling my items on other places like Facebook where I have to meet the buyer. Clearly eBay have never cared one bit about their customers quite sad but I suppose it's a fact of modern society when a company can treat their clients like this

Private seller restrictions

Yes, there have been quite a few changes in the last year and you are not the only Seller struggling to come to grips with them. Just to sum up, in case it helps:

Simple Delivery - has just two postage options as of today Royal Mail and EVRI. You may opt out of one. (eBay say they plan to add more postage options.)

Buyer Protection Fee - the Buyer pays this not you. Now you sell for free, no more general selling fees for the Seller.

Colours/Fonts - these were simplified awhile ago, I believe makes the eBay more compatible for the many Buyers who use their phones to buy. My personal opinion is that there are too many dark colours rather than pastels. I see you picked my favourite blue for one of your listings.

Good luck with selling and getting used to the new features!
