I still cannot change back to classic view on ebay UK.
Can you change back to classic view?
I find the new view of the pages hard to navigate and I am thinking of leaving ebay for good if I cannot change back.
Can anyone help me change back to classic view on ebay UK.
Thank you.

When you list with the new e bay set up , be very careful it automatically lists you item with an Offers on it. When I list something thats what I want. Not some fool offering peanuts , and wanting free postage to boot. Another bloody balls up on this new e bay. Perhaps they should pay US to list . Seems that since it was changed I've not had offers like I used to. Rare items go unseen as the page listing is so complex & awful now. Go on, CHANGE IT BACK, you know it makes sence

I agree entirely - it's unbelievable that sellers now have to watch-out for ebay sneaking-in default settings to listings that, ultimately, stiff the sellers. It is all just too much trouble, and the idea of being taken for a mug by ebay sticks in my throat. If it had 'just' been the seller hub, i might have put the effort in to get clued-up on it, but with the compulsory shift onto Managed Payments as well (where I'm expected to give ebay permission to dip into my bank account as and when they see fit!) it's just too much. Apologies if this is slightly off-topic (although it is part of the same malaise of ebay taking its customers for granted and trying to exploit them for every penny they can), but with the compulsory introduction of Managed Payments i was going to set-up a separate bank account for ebay transactions (as I was deeply uncomfortable with the idea of ebay having carte blanche access to my bank ac) whereby i could keep track of things. I know that, before we were all forced to use paypal by ebay, ebay had access to my bank ac then for sellers fees; although they'd only invoice/charge once a month and it was, consequently, simpler to check on/keep track of. However, the combination of the inconvenience of feeling that, because i have so little faith in either the competence or integrity of ebay, I'd need to set-up a separate bank ac to manage ebay monies coupled with the wholly unfriendly seller hub seller just leaves me thinking, "why would i go to all this trouble to benefit a faceless corporation that just wants to exploit me?" and, given I can't come up with a reson to justify this asymmetric relationship - whereby everything is stacked in ebay's favour and i'm expected to pay handsomely for the the privilege of being a customer of theirs - I'd sooner keep hold of a bit of dignity and walk away. I'm lucky that I can afford to do this, and it's the sellers who use ebay as a means of securing income to keep body and soul together that have my sincere sympathy.

What is unbelievable is I logged my thoughts (in the form of a complaint) with ebay and suggested others do the same, if they fewlt as I did.
Ebay them removed my post suggesting it was libelous, which is clearly ridiulous and false.
So they are now stopping you from being entitled to voice an opinion.
I challenged this, but have been ignored and my post has not been restored, to my knowledge.
Very very disappointing.

I really cannot work with the new layout, up to about a hour ago I could click revert back to classic view, seems that option has gone now, come on Ebay atleast give us an option to chose new or old.

Its gone. Its only ebay UK thats had this imposed upon us. Ebay.com , the USA version has not. I wonder why? Just tried to post something else , low and beholed "sorry somethings happened" . Yes the new e bay, thats whats happened.

Driving me up the wall today to find classic view removed and no way to switch it back on again!!!
28-04-2021 6:56 PM
Why don't they just leave it that you have the option. the classic view shows you everything clear and concise, the new view is just pants, it's as simple as that.
I'm phoning ebay suggest everyone else does and bombards them.

Is it so hard to want everything on onenpage vs expanding a 100 things to do so? Least on phone app im ort of used to it. And closest to classic but still a pain just not as bad as the regular site... sighs....

Sorry mate thats long gone, no way back. The thing about this "new and improved" rubbish is why should e bay tell me I should accept offers, what to charge for postage or even what I should put my item on for. Why show me what I havent sold when I want what is for sale? Do they really think if its not sold we will wonder where its gone to? Who's paying to use this rubbish? ME so S*d off ebay and just provide a platform that is usable and keep your nose out of my busness. Mind bussiness has dramatically dropped off since this change, I could sell one item per day until now. Even items with watchers just go by without a sniff, they must be loosing thousands with this new web page. I know I am!
28-04-2021 9:27 PM
It's weird they have stopped sending remainder emails to watchers. It's left up to you now to make direct offers to individuals, which of course have to be lower than what you listed it for. Which isn't idea for a seller!
28-04-2021 10:46 PM
Its not ideal to have a default position where offers are in play or , what you should send it for, or even what you should sell it for. To be honest , I used to look everyday, it was my "go to lockdown escapism",
Now I cannot be bothered, my sales have dried up and it seems everyone feels the same. Its odd , the last thing that has a bid on was BEFORE this new system. What does that say about it?

Be on the lookout, now ebay mabages your payments , that also list your item * times for you. I cannot find anthing to stop this. So, if anyone has found a way help would be nice. If not thats another little thing e bays has foisted upon us. Really getting sick of this now. No choice and they manage your deallings. Just send them the ruddy items and let them do it for you. Cut the middle man out! Bloody disgrace

Bad decision to remove paypal. If ebay thinks people will send the item whilst they take 2 days to pass the money on then they are deluded.

I've got the same problem and can't change the seller hub to the classic view. It was so simple and now it's so difficult to navigate everything. Waste of time!
29-04-2021 7:56 PM
Just asking , has anyone sold anything since the change of web design? I havent and I usually manage one a day. Also, have you noticed that it now lists your item 8 times if it doesnt sell? I cannot find a way to stop this. If anyone has can they share? Paypal too now is dead, have to use ebays "Managed payments" . These go into your bank account, now if like me you used your paypal money to spend on e bay its a bit of a cheek to just say "this is it take it or leave it" Never felt more like packing the whole lot in since I first used e bay a long time ago

There is a way to stop the auto relist and take control of your listings. Never use the simple lister again.
On a pc start a completely new listing and on the 2nd or 3rd page you will see a link that says "business tool" it is available to everyone and is the only listing tool worth using if you want control.
Follow the link through ignoring warnings of suitability and you will never see anything added to your listings again.
The downside for some is that you must think for yourself and fill in all details to list so take care the first time if you use it.

I'll give that a try . That is exactly what I want, just a bit of control. Some of my items have been relisted soon after they have closed. I would like to decide when to relist them not leave it to ebay. Once again Thanks. Alfie
