ebay take lable payment before buyer pays for item

i dont think it is right ebay take the cash for a lable before a buyer pays for the item, also there is not a option to combine post anymore

I presume that you mean that they take payment for the label before the seller is paid as they obviously can't take it before the buyer pays?

with this new set up , it has taken post and you also cant send buyer a invoice anymore or do combine post

Did you have ‘seller pays’ (free postage) ticked on your listing? 

They won’t have taken any postage before the buyer has paid.

Do you mean they’ve taken it before you have been paid? You have to wait until two days after delivery to be paid under the new SD system. 

Or are you seeing the buyer protection fee and confusing it with postage?

If they have bought the item then that means that they have paid eBay for it but you haven't received the funds from eBay yet.  Ebay will release the payment 2 days after confirmed delivery or 8 days after date of order if there is no delivery confirmation.

With Simple Delivery the buyer pays eBay for the label (£2.94 assuming it's the item that sold today) which eBay then just supplies to you.

I don’t think you’re understanding anything we’re asking you..

Are you using Simple Delivery or Custom Delivery? 

Has the money been taken from your ebay balance? How much has been taken? 

Perhaps you are seeing that you will get less than the order amount? It might be the buyer Protection fee, not postage. 

If so this has not been taken from you, you’ll get the amount you entered on the listing form.

I was confused but it must be that

seller hasn’t received their sale funds yet 

buyer has paid for the item and postage  , and eBay have issued a postage label to seller 

who will get their funds after delivery 

if I were to click buy and not pay cos I changed my mind suddenly there’s no way a label would be issued

Yes, does sound like a perfectly fine sale and OP just doesn’t understand the new bpf/delayed payment/ simple delivery situation.
