contact buyer, not responding?

Sold an item, buyer has paid but need to contact him  to confirm his address.

Have sent him 3 messages via Ebay messages.

Non have been responded  to.  However what is strange is that the messages appear in my Ebay inbox, and none in my sent messages ?

Is this a bug or is it my naivity?  solution?

Why on earth do you need to confirm their address.

You have an address send it to that.

All you do when you message these things is create a problem down the line for yourself.

Leave the buyer alone they should know where they live

And do not alter the address if different that is leaving yourself open to a scam.

Thanks for taking the trouble to respond, but neither of you answer my questions.

I accept that I query could have ben clearer, it is the email address that is required, both as requested by the courier and for passing on tracking info.

Also my limited experience of sending stuff to blocks of flats and things going astrat does give cause for concern.

So let me repeat.  Why are my messages  appearing in my Ebay message inbox rather than sent messages ? i am so frustrated with Ebay's recent "improvements", my trust in them has not as it was?

With regard to the email address, you can use the one that eBay provides.  The address looks like nonsense, but it's a valid address and the courier's email will get through to the buyer.

I don't know why the messages are appearing in the inbox rather than the sent messages.  eBay have recently changed the messaging app, and it seems to be a total mess.

You need to open a not described returns case. The seller will then have three days to send you a returns label to return it for a refund. If they dont then you can ask ebay to step in and help.
