As a private seller of small items we are one month into this Ebay dictat/strategy of killing off private sellers. Surprise, surprise my sales are 45% down month on month and I have to what three weeks to get paid. Thanks ebay, hope you get what you wish for.

Even if the bpf or SD wasn’t there would they be restricting views on private sellers?

I think so because views no watchers were down for a while

so these two new strategies are just extra hassle if this is their plan ie to get rid of private sellers 

Could be wrong 

wonder if business sellers have the same complaints ie less views less sales etc 

if so then it’s not an attack on private sellers ?

Many business sellers are finding it really tough at the moment too. The general buzz around all of this may be keeping buyers away, so even without protection fees and Simple Delivery, it's not easy.

We're still in the middle of a "cost of living" crisis at the moment. People had little in the way of spare cash last month, and this month we have increases in council tax, power bills, mobile and internet bills, so that just makes it harder.

March was my worst month since Covid. Even adjusting as it was a four week month, it was around 20% worse than any other month, and this month hasn't started any better. I have decided to hold off listing more valuable items for the moment, and see if I can shift a greater quantity of cheaper items.

Have a look at the business sellers board, it seems to be pretty quiet over there as well. 🙁

Buyer just don't seem to be buying... from anyone!
