Under no circumstances will I use evri having had too many problems with them in past including parcels left out in the open for all passer-by’s etc to see. Another package left on the top of my recycling bin with no protection from the weather.
I, for the fast 10 years have used Royal Mail for sending and delivery. No problems and I am supporting a British institution.
On eBay I tend to mainly sell although I will make 10/12 purchases a year on average.
Similar to several other eBay sellers I have no problem taking my sold items to my local Royal Mail for despatch. Doing my own postage and served by PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED STAFF.
The convincing incentive is I have had no problems with my buyer receiving their purchase sometimes next day.
“Simple delivery” appears to be stupid delivery. Postage rates inflated making greedy eBay more profit plus the “Buyer protection fee” shows an increase making the sellers item overpriced and again making eBay more underhand profit.
Reading the recent community posts on a daily basis it looks as eBay are having sellers and their listings leave in droves. There can only be one inclusion and that is heads will roll within eBay probably in the near future.
Whether eBay will recover remains to be seen.
In closing, my assumption from the past few weeks is that eBay have been THEY ARE TALKING AT THE CUSTOMER BASE NOT TALKING WITH THEM !!
