Why are Ebay trying to push Evrie???

I had recently  not sold anything for over a week so thought i would just delist and then relist then, when doing this i had noticed that Ebay had changed my postage without my say so (so might explain why no sales) to Evrie!! how dare they!! i had an Evrie parcel come to me yesterday from an item i had ordered on amazon and they said on the order details they had handed it to me, errrm no they had not, it was just basically chucked on my front lawn, its a good job i live in a safe area, and was not even at home!! EBAY DO NOT TRY AND PUSH THIS RUBBISH COURIER OR YOU ARE GOING TO GET INTO ALOT OF BOTHER WHEN IT COMES TO A WHOLE LOAD OF REFUNDS!!  what a completely stupid move!!

With Payouts dependant on delivery status, and everyone complaining that RM tracking never updates on eBay ,

Puzzled. Simply not my experience. Is it dependant on which service is used? I use RM Tracked 48 and it always, but always, updates on Ebay.

I buy my postage direct from their Click & Drop site, which I have "integrated" with Ebay (so that I don't have to type in addresses), I don't know if that helps.

If your importing items from ebay to Click and Drop I think it's more reliable. But so many people seem to prefer not using integration, and it seems the manual input does not lead to a marry up with RM/Ebay.

"With SD, you have to use our label so it's only right that if we screw up we don't screw you"

Neutral or negative feedback
Neutral or negative feedback for delivery-related issues can be requested to be removed from your account via Seller Help, as long as you post using the prepaid label provided within your stated handling time.

Just so u get an idea of what Evri couriers are dealing with I'll give u a show of the new estimated pay tab on our apps lol. Obv I don't work for this rate. I have a "topup" agreement in place. But this is what they are now paying new couriers roughly. Just feel I need to let people see just why evri's service is pretty terrible now

Basically a tenner for 17 deliveries. And  this company recently posted record profits. That's what is going on.

On a side note, Inpost was bought out by Menzies who use their own couriers to the lockers but then seem to use Yodel for the last mile. With that said I have had a flawless service using them for my ebay deliveries so they are now my main choice. I'll use Evri for the areas inpost doesn't deliver.

Or ebay provide cover  at the sale value  without having to wait for a decision or be told that the insurance does not cover you or you claim is valid but we only cover the cost of the item or the postage cost only or  maximum claim up to  £20  or sorry you paid for the insurance but your item is on our prohibited list !

Or ebay remove  negative feedback on  request relating to poor carrier performance outside of your control !

If you want to be in denial you can make the excuse or you can embrace the change towards what sellers want !

Yes but if they are all delivered to one address the pay is fantastic -  most evri delivery people deliver 100 plus a day and hardly any of them are letters - I think you are trying to manipulate members with a portion of information to make it biased - members will not fall for that trick !

Interesting. I find it's cheaper for me to buy Tracked 48 directly via ebay if it's a smallish parcel, probably due to volume, but didn't know I could do direct integration to click and drop. You live and learn 🙂

Not trying to manipulate anyone friend. I don't want anyone to use Evri if they don't want to. Nor do I deliver more than 100 a day. I'm just trying to make people understand just why couriers aren't waiting 20 minutes for peopel to answer their doors. All packets are now small packets even big ones misbanded so believe what u want to believe. All couriers treat their drivers like dirt these days. I was just putting my point across is all. I also apologise if anyone thinks that was my intention. It really is purely as its hard not to take personally all the Evri bashing on here.

Why are Ebay trying to push Evrie???

Looks like I have booked 157 orders in 12 months via P2G for Evri.

1x damage which I forgot to respond to a compensation offer so lost it.

1x Loss paid out

1x Loss Closed as the item turned up.

So effectively out of 157 orders were failed.

Not bashing Evri at all, we have nothing but praise for the Evri delivery person in our area - always on time or a day early, polite, happy and if we are not in and forget to leave the porch open  always treks up the back garden and leaves in green house, then texts to tell us where it is, He delivers over 150 parcels a day  - often working into the evening  and we are very rural and 39 miles from his depot.

He tells me he earns good money but has to get the deliveries to his customers on the day they are expecting them,

On busy days he delivers some of the following days deliveries the evening before to make sure he completes his round the following day, he has shown me days where he has  over 200 parcels which when I stepped back in amazement and commented that was an enormous number in a rural area, he smiled and said  it takes longer but he prefers the rural areas that's how he earns his money.

He is a real asset to Evri and to all his customers, he always gets a great review - every time he delivers, he always has time to speak when you see him and if not you always now when he has delivered - he is faultless ( although he did let on that occassionally people complain when he delivers early the night before ! )

He has recently bought his own house, got married and has a little one on the way.  He is self employed - not bad for a guy in his early  twenties !

Why are Ebay trying to push Evrie???

I mean I make good money too just cuz I make my mouth run but it shouldnt be like that. But tbh thats all business now innit. I hear ya tho lol. Fwiw a criticism i do have with evri is i did try to print some labels with customs declarations yesterday using the method someone on here mentioned. Connected my evri account, imported transactions and it said i had none lol. So yeh, that sucked haha.

Why are Ebay trying to push Evrie???

i do wish people would stop using phrases like 'everyone complaining', i am not complaining about RM tracking at all.  I only use the certificate of posting tracking  number and out of 18 parcels (both small and LL) only one has not been recorded as delivered and apart from that one i received the money in the time frame stipulated.  In fact the last one should have gone in today but actually went in yesterday.  Some people may have bad experiences with RM but mine is with EVRI as the courier is allowed to deliver as and when they please and our local one will not go off the main roads.

Why are Ebay trying to push Evrie???

You obviously have not read any of my posts, my sales have been higher than any other february since i started selling on here.  December i only had a couple, worst december ever.    So far i have had 6 sales in March, last year i had 8 in the whole month!     So much depends on what you are selling.    I just ignore all the puff they include about promotions or using your money to purchase labels, use for buying.  It just gets withdrawn into my bank account asap.

what i do not understand is why people still work for them?  I know needs must sometimes but that is really scraping the barrel for a job.

from what i have read on here over the past couple of months it is not what all sellers want!  I certainly will be fleeing the sinking ship if they make it mandatory.
