Has anyone had dealings with this buyer?
Bought a Sonos Bluetooth speaker from me. Sent by royal mail tracked 48 and have photographic proof of delivery. Still showing as he hasn't received the item. I believe he has bought items under a different name and scammed sellers as reported under Reddit. E Bay saying no rules have been broken so far. Any advice appreciated.

He got paid back by ebay but i did not.
DO NOT TRUST THIS CON MAN.
It's very unusual for eBay to side with a buyer for an "item not received" claim when tracking indicates the item was delivered. Usually this only happens when a signature hasn't been obtained on delivery for an item worth £450 or more or the seller didn't provide tracking to the case that was opened by the buyer. If it was a "Simple" Delivery label you should not have been held liable at all for any loss or damage in transit regardless what the tracking stated.
What exactly did eBay state in the case when they decided it in this user's favour? You may be able to get your money back but it depends on exactly what eBay stated when they closed the case.

This guy has tried to get me twice now. The aggressive message demanding I upload the tracking immediately made my spidey senses tingle and after a quick Google of his usernames listed on his page I could not belive what I read. I cancelled both the orders so he got nothing from me but the first time he tried was LAST YEAR and the second one just today. I immediately recognised the account name. Last year though! Shows how much eBay respect their sellers eh?! You said you banned him, how did you do that? I have just ended all my listings AGAIN, had a camera and some lenses for sale, but didn't know you could ban people from buying your listing's?

Hi,
If you just type "How to block buyers on eBay" the first eBay result will take you straight to it on your account

Add them to your blocked list on this page.

Hi
Please can you send me the name of this fraudster or the name of his shop.
I believe he has used different contact email names ( i could be mistaken )
Ebay has not put the name of the con artist in this thread so not able to check to see if it is the same person.
Thank you

Hi.
Thank you.
Yes, that is the seller who ripped me off.
Clearly a criminal and nothing being done about it.
Thank you for clarifying.

For anyone being scammed by this person returning a different item here is what you need to do:
If you have already lost the return case you need to file a report with Action Fraud as per #1 then click the link to appeal eBay's decision at the bottom of the (now closed) case. You need to include the reference number from Action Fraud in your appeal and their report if you have one.

Hi all who is this buyer ??? Everyone keeps mentioning "a buyer" but cannot see the name or the business! Could anyone send me the details please as I'm just about to send a couple of high value items that Google returned this page when I typed in the name so I want to make sure I won't be scammed by this person ! Thank you

I'm afraid naming this buyer, the name would be removed, otherwise the forum would be open to say, other members making up lies, and naming and shaming others.
I am not OP saying this is the case here, just that is the reason for not allowing to name in these cases.

It's fine I just found him on Reddit and it is indeed the scumbag who scammed countless people ! This shouldn't be allowed and the name should be published ! Heck eBay should intervene and they haven't it's disgusting! Top Buy U.K is the business in question !

I would suggest maybe cancelling the sale and blocking if a google search on the buyer brought you here. Id personally take any defect/neg against losing money in a high vale sale. This is a repeat offender and ebay does nothing to stop it.

I sure am, thank you, I was literally about to drop it off at the post office but then found him referred to on here and literally hundreds of other people too on Reddit ! Nearly got burnt on this one, glad I stopped the sale especially for this high value item that happens to be an item this person keeps scamming others about... Sick !!!!
