After some changes to eBay shipping You made I discovered another problem - the tracking number from purchased shipping label does not get populated in. The link to the Track Page with tracking number in seller hub - Orders -->Postage Labels also does not work - not until the tracking is manually added to the sold item under e.g. 'Manage all orders', Hopefully this will help the 'tech support' 🙂 to fix it !!!

I'm contacting our Community managers here to take a look at this, as I thought, under Simple delivery, as soon as the label was purchased the item is marked as dispatched, and therefore tracking added?
Is tracking to be added manually dave@ebay marco@ebay kat@ebay is this the case ?

Yes this is exactly how it used to work but since the few other issues these one has appeared soon after them and is still ongoing. I got to add tracking manually every time.
