Tracking number missing after RM shipping label purchase

After some changes to eBay shipping You made I discovered another problem - the tracking number from purchased shipping label does not get populated in. The link to the Track Page with tracking number in seller hub - Orders -->Postage Labels also does not work - not until the tracking is manually added to the sold item under e.g. 'Manage all orders', Hopefully this will help the 'tech support' 🙂 to fix it !!!

I'm contacting our Community managers here to take a look at this,  as I thought, under Simple delivery,  as soon as the label was purchased the item is marked as dispatched, and therefore tracking added?

Is tracking to be added manually  dave@ebay  marco@ebay   kat@ebay  is this the case ?

Yes this is exactly how it used to work but since the few other issues these one has appeared soon after them and is still ongoing. I got to add tracking manually every time.

I know your pain. It seam that only RM tracking is not being populated. Others like Evri does. It maight be something to do that they not class ordinary 1st or 2nd class (not proper trackable) as trackable...maybe I am wrong. Have a word with them and please let us know the outcome.

Spoken with an agent and they have raised it again with tech.. hopefully I should have an update within the next 24-48hrs from them or it will be resolved in this timeframe. Fingers crossed.

There is a thread on the Business Seller board re this same issue. None of my orders from yesterday or today have had the tracking numbers completed and I have had to enter them all manually. All my postage is now purchased through eBay and mine are NOT simple delivery postage.

Same here. As a business seller not using SD, just purchase RM labels through Ebay.None of labels purchasd over last few days, have tracking populated into order.Have had to add all manually, even signed for (the former recorded delivery) is affected.Having to spend precious time on this.Very annoying.
