Simple Delivery is woeful

As if the Seller Protection scam wasn't enough Ebay's latest belly-flop, Simple Delivery, is trying my patience to the limit.  Sick and tired of Ebay changing the postage costs for items under Simple Delivery I decided not to charge for delivery at all.  That solved nothing - Ebay actually charges me for postage when I've not added any!?  It strikes me as bordering on illegality but Ebay has always got away with this - remember it's last postal scam, some years ago?  That was a farce.  There really is nothing Simple about Simple Delivery.  My label printer will not work with it (it works with everything else).  Ebay claims that Royal Mail must accept any package under the Simple Delivery banner.  Let's see how long Royal Mail continue with under-priced packages?  Cllaiming back postage costs is supposed to take 14 days mine took over a month - several messages and calls.  I used to enjoy Ebay as a buyer and a seller. Over the last 6/7 years or so it has gone to the dogs.  If it were to disppear I wouldn't miss it.

Yes, I've also found my enjoyment of eBay has rapidly declined over these past few years. The switch over from the old, Classic pages to the new look/Seller Hub etc, along with the introduction of Promoted listings started the downward spiral - and Simple Delivery & the BPF have pretty much finished it, imo.

Of course, I could have fallen prey to 'everything-was-better-in-the-old-days' syndrome... but where eBay is concerned, I do believe it was better!
