Buyer in NI

Sold an item by auction last week and I've not yet received payment. Upon checking I can see the buyer is based in NI. I am a private seller in the UK. Is this due to GPSR? Do I need to exclude NI and EU from my listings?  Thank you.

GPSR doesn't apply to Private Sellers.

NI is part of the UK.  Not sure if you need to use a CN22 label like for Jersey / Guernsey but when I used to post to NI it was the same thing with RM for mainland UK.  But things change.

The last time I sold to NI which was earlier this year, I had to use Evri as it was heavier then RM small parcel.  But I was furious when I had to pay a surcharge as the buyer was in a remote area which cost me an extra £3.50.  So unfortunately I've blocked NI like I block the Highlands and Islands - but only for Evri.  I will post everywhere in the UK for small parcel sizes so long as I don't have to pay surcharges cos I include the postage in the selling price.

There have been reports on these boards (like this one) about buyers in Northern Ireland being unable to pay for items being sold by (British) private sellers when Simple Delivery is involved. You'll need to ask your buyer if they are experiencing any issues.
