Sellers invoices not showing sellers details

I have only just noticed that since August my invoices are going out without  my name and address on, but instead shows the delivery and registration address of the buyer  (both).  Surely it is a legal requirement that invoices issued show the name and address of the seller ?

Only if you are a business seller I believe.

An invoice is only a legal requirement if both the buyer and the seller are registered for VAT. A non-VAT registered business isn't even required to provide a receipt for a transaction much less an invoice; the same applies to private sellers.

My guess is eBay have removed any personal details from the sales record that are not required to be exchanged where a private seller is concerned. Your buyer would only need your name and address if they opened a return request.
