Refund given

The buyer of a football shirt I sold messaged me and stated that I had not mentioned in the description that the poppers on the collar didn’t work.
I gave them a full refund and expected them to send the shirt back. Even though I have messaged them three times they have ignored them.
Do I stand anywhere in getting this item back or because I did the refund straight away they get to keep the shirt.

No - because you shouldn't have refunded.

The correct process is, buyer opens a return request - you provide return details (which may include a prepaid return label), they return, you refund.

Unfortunately, as you have refunded, you've basically said to ebays systems you don't want the goods back.

Aside from the buyer having a change of heart - you won't get that back.

Always think of it the way a bricks and mortar shop does. Would they refund you without you bringing the product back to the store?

If you want Block the eBayer, so he/she cannot come back & buy again.
