Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

Again, nothing wrong with that but they aren't sovereign legal regulating bodies.
eBay fall under the jurisdiction of Trading Standards and potentially the Financial Ombudsman depending on circumstance.
I just think we might as well skip all the middle men and go straight to the big dogs. Let them decide.
I honestly think the disabled have a serious legal argument against Simple Delivery. Even with their updates there are still scenarios where disabled sellers may not be able to contractually fulfill a sale, not by their choice, but by choices imposed on them by third parties.
At a minimum that is discrimination and considering how powerful their legal groups are I don't fancy eBay's chances of winning that argument if it came to pass.

I relisted some items that hadn't sold
Last week
I noticed no watchers or bids so I have just checked listing's to see that ebay had my previous postage costs to simple delivery
I never use that as the simple delivery cost is more than I normally charge
I have just spent the last hour changing it all
So if you relist an unsold item double check the postage before you hit the relist button
Sneaky or what

The CEO of eBay is on record saying he wants Simple Delivery mandatory. The opt out is only at the moment and by last announcement it will probably change anytime within the next few months. They said Q2.

This happened to me too. I definitely put Royal Mail. No one is going to pay £2.70 + 74p Buyers Protection for a £1 Vintage Greetings Card.

Yes, now each relist has to be changed to custom postage because it's been changed to simple delivery! I keep checking my BINs when they automatically relist just in case it's happened there.
