Option to send invoices disappeared

Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.

I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo. 

anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

I don't think they care sir, this was done on purpose to make more money per single order on the rip off buyer protection fee.

Almost a month since i reported it, nothing changed, no update and the manager 'Maria' told me it could take up to 90 days to address.

Yesterday eBay CS were saying the coders have decided it's incompatible with the new system, so it's gone.

Yes i've read the quote somewhere of what was said invoices are gone forever. But i have sold my first items on the alternative so there is hope for me when this long 21 year journey ends

A multi billion dollar company can't fix this within near on a month?

It's part of the plan no invoicing Ebay have taken that over now, they will control everything soon

Concerned about the implementation of 'simple delivery' too if they can't even fix how to send an invoice for combined postage.

Seems that way and if there is truth to the statement it won't be fixed at all now. They just disabled it.

They're truly awful now, I knew when they got rid of fees for private sellers it was too good to be true.

Yes, I'd rather close my account and sell elsewhere if they don't fix this.

They don't intend to fix it it's all part of BPF they want 75p for every single item and will enforce that so that we can't work around. In time i think they will control refunds as well. This is totally unfair on my buyers who trust me or did, glad my time here is coming to an end

Have made my 1st sales elsewhere, can't say where, but no buyer fees, total control over everything-for me- just like the good old days

Genuinely happy for you, any way to escape this platform is for the best, I have so much to sell though.

Weird how this is only affecting ebay UK though, my friend in Sweden can still send invoices...Perhaps I'll move countries lmao

Also, this whole change in the first place was a blatant attempt to strong arm all private sellers into paying for a business account, as business sellers don't have to wait like 5 days AFTER releasing their goods for payment.

Absurd platform when I think about it.

Well they wouldn't have to pay BPF would they?

So that may still be able to run from the old code.

But whether they can request is one thing. Whether a UK seller can actually issue one is another.

Haven't seen any examples of that yet.

It's because overseas buyers don't pay the buyer protection fee. This invoice "problem" is related to the changes made for BPF. No BPF, no problem.

I don't know why they don't just go back to a sellers fee, which is what this really is. If they set it at a similar percentage to the BPF without the base price of 75p they'd make just as much and have a lot less hassle.

For some reason we are treated badly here, the business sellers get less listings, it's like we the guinea pig for all the new plans

Yes I did issue one, that's why I made note of it, guy it Italy bought 4 records, asked for combined which I could send.

Not had an international buyer for weeks to test this hardly any buyers they are as confused and disappointed as us
