Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

He won't reply non of them will, the invoices are not coming back it's been a month all you can do is ask the buyer to pay all the postage and refund the overpaid. I've had enough and taken my listings off. None of them will tell us the truth, just endless excuses and copy and paste answers

I stopped listing new items a couple of weeks ago. I sell vintage greetings card and postcards. Most sell for £1/2. A lot of my buyers will buy 6 + Lots at a time. I don’t mind waiting for Lots to go through over a number of days so I can combine the postage. Better for the environment and less hassle for me. I do refund the postage now that I can but can’t do anything about the buyers protection. My sales have dropped off by at least 90%. I am not relisting anything at the moment. EBay needs to sort this out. I would prefer to go back to having to pay to sell.
I do not sell enough to become a business.

Having just the same problem , it’s ok if the postage refund is relatively small but I have one currently where there are 12 die cast models which would be £5 each postage so the postage refund would be in the order of £50 ..no problem for me but how can I expect a buyer to shell out an extra £50 in the hope of getting it back ?
Totally inconsiderate from EBay who do not value their clients.

The "how" is easy.
People are venting instead of complaining to the correct groups.
Trading Standards and The Financial Ombudsman.
By adding BPF into a mix that already includes the MBG they are almost certainly committing fraud.
The sales pitch for BPF and the MBG is that consumers don't have as many rights buying from private sellers as they do from businesses.
So eBay added in the free MBG to "balance" that.
That's still active on every listing I've checked and still advertised separately to BPF.
So consumers that buy from Private Sellers have a free protection system for every item they buy, contractually included by eBay for every sale.
So consumers have the rights provided by said contract.
Now they have the mandatory BPF too which essentially does exactly the same thing as the above MBG.
But this time they are charging.
& they've also made it the main condition of sale within a consumer to private seller transaction for any item that has BPF applied (there are exemptions, why I said it like that).
But if you cannot buy from a private seller without paying BPF then that isn't just a consumer to private seller transaction anymore.
That's consumer to business to get access to the private sellers items.
That probably gives consumers an entirely different set of rights. And ironically it's the BPF system that invokes them.
There's loads of different angles on this, but you need to complain to the right people.

Agreed.
on another note, I notice business accounts do not have the BTF added to listings. Does anyone know - do business accounts retain the ability to send a combined (post reduced) invoice?

Well it's not there for me. Any chance you can share a screen shot?

Strangely when I click the link it takes me to MY Awaiting Payment screen showing my items and no Invoice feature!

Did you try clicking on the Send Invoice button and if so, were you able to edit and potentially send an invoice?
This sounds like one of the buttons that has always been there, but when you click on it you get the "invoices are temporarily unavailable" message which also suggests you do a refund.

On the seller hub, go to orders, awaiting payment.

How come this issue has not been fixed yet please

The link works for me. Took me to my Awaiting Payment section but I can't try the 'combine purchases' as I have nothing awaiting payment. I wonder if it's accessible on the app?

Yes they do no change at all for Business Sellers
