I can't quite believe what has happened to me. I have kept my 100% positive feedback since I started selling on Ebay over 15 years ago.
Buyer bought the item on 28th November and I dispatched on the same day.
Ebay gave her the estimated dilivery dates of 3rd-4th December.
She gave me negative feedback on 1st December saying "they say they try to del this is not true
I sent Royal Mail Tracked 48 and on tracking showed they had attempted delivery but no one was in so they would try again they next day.
I messaged the buyer to reassure her that it would more than likely arrive tomorrow 2nd or Wednesday 3rd at the latest as they always make 3 attempts.
She replied to me in a rather nasty way by saying "All what you say is not true so please don't try this with me just send what i have paid for" I was a bit shocked by this.
The order was delivered to her on the 2nd December with a good tracking picture of her holding it on the Royal Mail site.
I messaged her to say how happy I was that she had received her package and informed her that I had sent her a Feedback Revision Request (explained it's easy for her to do) and I would really appreciate it if she could just take a couple of minutes to do this for me.
I explained that I am a good reliable seller who just wants to keep my 100% Positive Feedback score.
Not heard back from her and no revision as yet 😞
I noticed she has till the 12th to either revise the feedback or dcline the request. Then it says I have to respect the buyers decision if they don't do any of it.
So how can I get it amended if she doesn't and am I just stuck with my less than perfect record?
Kindest regards from Ronnie

If you used Simple Delivery, I believe you are protected against negative feedback given for postage.
You can appeal to Ebay.

I forgot about that! Hope the seller does appeal the feedback, although now they've left a reply I am not sure it will be removed?

I thought you had to wait a week to leave a negative about anything?

As @cobwebcottage advised, try and appeal the neg by contacting eBay. I usually find the chatbot ok and just ask for a live person and request it be removed - providing you used Simple Delivery.
Don't forget to add the buyer to your blocked list.

That only applies top top-rated large sellers.

If you can't see the appeal button to the right of the feedback, call CS and explain that it was sent Simple Delivery and on time.

No accounting for unrealistic expectations but just have to deal with it. They won't get any more bargains from you.
I've not been in your situation for donkeys years but when I do have a problem I have found the Chatbot (right side of screen or under Help & Contact - 'problem with a sale'. If you want to phone CS then best to phone in the early morning to get hold of the call centre in Ireland. But I've not had problems using the ChatBot and getting hold of a human 'bean' during the day. I prefer Chatbot as there's a record of the discussion sent to your private email address afterwards.

Hi again everyone,
I have just had the negative feedback removed after I spoke to a customer services agent who was a really nice guy from Ireland. He told me not to worry anymore as he was going to remove the red mark against me and restore my 100% positive feedback within 2 hours. I am over the moon!
Thank you all for your messages of support and kind words.
Kindest regards Ronnie 🙂 xx

Good Evening Ronnie
Delighted to hear of the feedback removal. You were most unfortunate to come across and have to deal with such an unreasonable and obnoxious buyer.
She ought to try selling and see for herself just how difficult it can be.
Carry on selling.

I am glad this has been resolved. I felt the need to reply, just because of the sheer insanity of the situation, lol, with Nov 28th being Black Friday, arguably the busiest sales day of the year. This is happening too often now, with buyers being completely deluded when it comes to delivery expectations. I have a three day dispatch time and made a sale before a weekend not so long ago, and I had an angry buyer contact me, saying they were going to open a case with ebay for non delivery, on the day before the last date I was obligated to send it out (if that makes sense, lol). I just cancelled and blocked them. The estimated delivery dates given do not help, but still, the lack of common sense from supposed adults.

I made a purchase from Amazon. For £1 extra, I could have it delivered before 10pm on the day of ordering. That speed does set unrealistic ideas in the minds of buyers who buy from sellers that use RM.
I passed on the £1, and it was delivered the following day. However, I didn't need it next day - I would have been happier with a reduced shipping cost - it was LL size - and an RM delivery. It was just a new ink pad for an automatic numbering machine - my world wasn't going to collapse if it took a week.

Yes, I was thinking of Amazon when I replied, but didn't mention them in case people viewed it as a slight against them, lol. They have their own extensive delivery network and personal drivers. They are in the position to offer same day and next day delivery. Like many on here, I am a very small private seller, at the mercy of Royal Mail for delivery, when an item is sent out. I have never ever dispatched an item late, in the time I have been selling, but from tracking, buyers messages, etc I know some buyers receive their parcel later than expected. It happens, always will. I see it when I am the one buying. The best is the messages that state your item is in a condition better than expected, the price was great, wonderful low postage fees (as I cover postage at my end), but 'gosh darn it', it arrived a day later than the unrealistic estimated delivery date and the buyer feels the need to point it out to you, lol.
