AS OF 15TH APRIL MY DAYS AS A PRIVATE EBAY SELLER WILL STOP AFTER 19 YEARS.
I AM FED UP OF THE GREED OF EBAY AND I HOPE OTHER EBAY SELLERS DECIDE TO NO LONGER LET THE EBAY CONTROL FREAKS HAVE THIS MUCH CONTROL OVER PRIVATE SELLERS.

I do not think the labelling helps. The labels that are generated indicate that the item is an eBay purchase and the label generated via SD. Any unscrupulous postie may interpret this as a flag that should the item go ‘missing’, both parties involved in the transaction will be reimbursed so no harm done. I would have included a photo, but it’s needs to be a jpg format and not a jpeg format that my photo is saved as, ( I am well aware that it is the same….. but different!!!)

I'm glad you posted that.
It really does make me wonder if SD labels on things means they are not treated the same as items with proper RM labels.
I agree that maybe the service when delivering things with RM labels on is better because they'll know that those items are from people using RM direct.

You have raised some interesting points As it appears that eBay is not concerned or listening about the over 8200 complaints about simple delivery on this thread That brings to mind that everyone should now also direct their frustrations to Royal Mail and In example eBay changed all of my ads to simple delivery and with that they changed the postage costs these costs varied from anywhere from £2.81 to £6.51 and fluctuated for the SAME size box and weight in all of my ads With that in mind off of my Direct Royal Mail account a 5kg parcel 48 hr tracked delivery cost me £6.80 plus .30 pence total being £7.10 which included collection from my door I wonder what Royal mail would have to say about that ? I am sure Royal mail checks the weight of parcels and what is going to happen to a parcel that has been shipped with the wrong Simple delivery cost I would probably estimate That Royal Mail would not be impressed with a simple delivery label of £2.81 for a 5 kg parcel on it In fact I do not think Royal Mail will be happy about the fact that their employees will be delivering underpaid parcels That's something to Think about !
In the meantime I have changed all of my Ads to Collection in person only that got rid of simple delivery and also the wrong postage costs and it even eliminated my dispatch times which eBay changed without informing me. I will not go back to delivery's until Simple delivery is removed from this selling platform and also will not buy anything on eBay until this simple delivery is removed I will just buy elsewhere

Just thought I'd pop In and see what's happening and being said, and it's nice to see everyone is still enjoying Simple Delivery....
I'm guessing eBay are now feeling the effects of Buyer Protection Fee's, and done the reduction ect, I get the feeling they are being hit hard by people not Buying or Selling anymore, so maybe they will rethink about Simple Delivery
The other thing I have noticed/seen on YouTube is people talking about the eBay AI, and how it's flagging accounts of people that haven't done anything wrong, and Suspending the Accounts, there is a code people keep referencing, and it seems to be a problem to get your account out of the Suspension

Hi all, I am aware of the SD issues and think that it is totally wrong. What I seem to have missed in these messages is what happens when you try to list an item with Free Postage. I tried just now but when I read my add eBay was showing postage of over £5. Why can I not list it as Free Postage?

It's probably because you have to click either 'Buyer pays' or 'Seller pays'. 'Seller pays' means Free Postage, so the £5, or whatever, will be the price you will be charged for the Simple Delivery label, depending on the service/whether it is RM or Evri.

Agree - its rubbish and pointless. Pausing all my listings and starting selling eleswhere.
