I have been selling some low cost items and sending as a Large Letter 2nd Class at a cost of £1.55.
Most I sell for £4.99 or £5.99 including the P&P so I end up with around £3 for my trouble.
With Simple Delivery it now costs £2.72 which seems extortionate!
With the Buyer protection Fee on top it is not worth my trouble selling.
Can anything be done so I can buy my own postage?

I have approx 100 low value items will will cost 87p to send, EBay now forcing me to list these with a minimum postage cost to the buyer of £2.72, whole business no longer viable. EBay sort this out please

That's because the lowest tracked service that Royal Mail offer is Tracked 48 and costs £2.80.

Cigarette cards under collectibles tend to default to custom postage
one or two of the subcategories dont
the /“other” subcategory does
also try sell one like this from one of your existing listings and custom should come up too
i tried both methods on iOS and desktop version and works for me
I don’t see why it shouldn’t for others but what do I know about ebays inner workings

Hi, I have some maps for sale. When I went to list one that i had accidentally deleted some time ago, I did a "sell similar" on a different map and it said that the listing had been updated to SD. It added postage of 2KG parcel! The map weighs 72g and was Large Letter £1.55 and is priced at £3. There was no custom delivery option, but although it had selected 2kg parcel it recommended Large Letter! I selected large letter and the custom delivery came up. Now back to £1.55.
I tried this on a drill bit, similar weight and price... didn't work!
