I'm having problems with the new Simple Delivery. I thought I selected a up to 750g label by default as I put on a Nintendo Switch game, but it gave me 100g label - maybe it selects 100g large letter by default. With this you also can't change it after a bid has started or it has bought. You have to cancel the order, then get them to repurchase it.
Has anyone else had this issue, or it is just me?
Many thanks,
Michael

ohh! https://www.rummij.com/ works for me - should be universally available.
If it's not it would be really good to know system / kit you tried on (iphone / android/ windows 10 / etc) , we can look at why & fix it !

There are loads of great sites out there - quite a number of new ones popping up too.

The guru says "may mean can’t download a Rummij app from the App Store for their iPad (because app doesn’t exist yet) - The new build will hit iOS and Android "
Beta is old fashioned web browser only, although it is server-side and should work on everything.
(ie backwards compatible as far as crystal sets, maritime morse code and wild west railway telegraph)

Why would ebay do this. Its insanity to take away postal options. I send all of my items 48 hour tracked which is £2.70. I use top quality envelopes and package well. My feedback is 100%.
As a pensioner I don't want to use mobile phones and scan things.
I'll be forced to stop selling after 2 years. Financially it will hurt.

We've been told for those with no printers / mobile phones to scan the code, you can use another device for example a camera or iPad take a photo of the code, take to the Post Office and they can scan that for you and issue the label.
I don't sell anymore, but understand if you select Royal Mail as the only option, you can deselect Evri in your Site Preferences, then items are sent Royal Mail Tracked 48.

I have had this pushed on me this week, postage settings on active listings overridden and only found out when items sold. I sold an item a few weeks ago and no such issue. I bought my own postage online as usual then. The simple postage labels I printed this week had no weight on at all, and no indication of whether they were for letters or parcels. After 16 years of selling on ebay every so often when I have a clear out thats me done with ebay. I find I sell most items elsewhere anyway now.

Been having loads of problems , they expect me to go to the post office with thirty items , I don't own a printer. Don't run a business , to stand in a queue and go through every email mail with a QR code and play match the parcel it's ridiculous, they messaged me the new policy in my eBay inbox and that's classed as legally binding , no email nothing , I have been a ebayer 9 years , I don't like being knee jerked into using third parties , which ebayer say if they don't deliver the item it's basically not there problem , they get me to organise delivery etc so they can steal the postage from customers , I don't even get the postage , I paid hundreds of pounds out my own pocket and didn't realise I wouldn't be getting the postage , it's disgusting ,

Well, nobody enjoys being made to do something they don't want to do, or use a service they wouldn't have chosen themselves!
I'm definitley NOT a fan of Simple delivery, (and have stopped selling..) but even I can see it has got some good points:
When it comes to Simple Delivery, ebay have stated that they (not you, the seller) will be responsible for non-deliveries or items damaged in the post*
And they're not 'stealing' postage from buyers. Buyers are just paying the postage (albeit slightly inflated postage cost), rather than it coming out of the seller's pocket.
*yes, there is 'small print' and there will be exceptions. but on the whole ebay will pay the refunds, not you...
