Two items recently I've sold using Simple Delivery for UK buyers and GSP setup on the listings for non-UK buyers. Both times the item was won by someone abroad and they end up at the end of the auction being asked for their delivery information! And then they get told that I don't deliver to their location! On the first occasion I wasn't allowed to send an invoice or anything (not that I should have to). This time I was allowed to send an invoice and had to choose a carrier, pay for the shipping cost in advance and then send the invoice to my buyer. What on Earth is happening? GSP doesn't even seem to be an option anymore, even if you select it. I was expecting eBay to handle it all, give me the usual postage label with the GSP address on and a ref number for the buyer. That hasn't happened. Anyone else experiencing this?

For Germany, please read the recent post from @littlemissy101 and make sure you have the basics in place. If you do, please come back to us with the Item number.
For Norway, it would help to have the Item number. To see if Norway prohibits import.

Interesting, thanks for the link. I'm not a business seller so thought that wouldn't apply to me with Germany. I have shipped vintage computers to Norway before with no problem so they're not usually prohibited. I will just have to adjust to the changes. Thanks again.

It seems your first instinct may have been correct! @swr_e007 posted today in Member-to-Member forum that they think GSP is broken for UK Sellers. It may be worth watching this thread as it goes to Pro Mentors, and not just other Sellers like us. Watch that space for their direct info from eBay about this possible glitch, and their professional suggestions about how to get around it in the meantime.

Yes, we have had exactly same problem with sales to Germany and Italy! Very annoying that EBay have not pushed out any information on the problem and when it willbe fixed.

I just had this from a support agent:
"Upon checking the issue I can see that this error is happening as buyers are checking from the UK site of eBay which is eBay.co.uk. If they check it from their own registered site, then they will be able to check the postage options as I am able to see it from my side."

They are kind of right as far as I can see. I just tried to browse one of my own items via the German ebay.de site and the different postage costs are calculated as I select the different countries under postage. I have asked if it will be fixed on ebay.co.uk

More from another support agent : "we are experiencing a confirmed technical issue in this area right now due to which the GSP is not working and our team is working to resolve it as quickly as possible."
"I’m adding your account to the list of impacted members for review. It will help us pinpoint the root cause of the issue so we can resolve it quickly."
