Irish call handlers?

I've had ongoing problems with feedback over the last six months - previously, I'd ask to speak to someone on the Help section's automated chat.  By and large, if you timed it right, you'd get a call back from one of their aftersales team in the Republic of Ireland, and very helpful they were too.  Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore; have they been given the push or am I just unlucky in not being able to get hold of one?

Nope,  they're still there, and usually present very first thing in the morning when the lines first open at 8 a.m. on weekdays,  and 9 a.m. on weekends. 

It's only a Call Back option now, and usually only a few minutes wait,  when they answer,  you'll hear if it's the Irish dulcet tones or not !

@tressygirl Hmm, I have to say I've had the German call centre more recently, haven't had Dublin for sometime.

I had an English call handler somewhere "up North" recently once! 

I asked her if she was in England and she confirmed she was!

To be fair,  and thankfully I have not needed to call CS a lot, let's face it we only do,  when there's an issue we cannot solve ourselves, mine was on receiving an item so Not as Described it was laughable, yep my bad, didn't check seller's country of registration, need I go further!!  However  the option to escalate,  even on day 7 after opening a case was not appearing.

Contacting CS  indeed, once I received the German call centre,  chappie was great,  and the other time for the same case,  Dublin.  Had to call them back for them to escalate, and they did.

I do believe tho the Emerald Isles had a Bank Holiday on the Monday,  so trying to contact them then, I'd imagine Germany might answer.
