I post an item to a seller last Saturday 8th February the tracking never was scanned the buyer had the goods on the 13th February I asked to leave feedback to say have item. I waited for ebay to call me. I had a call from a guy in Germany, so he had no idea about how Royal Mail works, he did not listen to me and told me feedback does not matter I wont get paid for 40 days, I ended up so angry with his comments that he then put the phone down on me. The buyer has the goods but as Royal mail did not scanned the signed for I have to wait for 40 days, this is extremely poor service by also people from ebay who have no idea how the post works here in the UK

The difference is that I am not wrongly claiming to have never had any negatives.
I've had eight in 22 years, four times as many as you have had, from about four times as many sales, over a similar period of time. I've also had sixteen neutrals, double your number, but again from four times as many sales.
It's part of selling. Every now and then you'll get one. eBay doesn't show all feedback for longer-term users, but there's no need, as picclick summarises it for us.
I am certainly not "creating hatred". You have been discredited time and time again on this and other threads, yet you continue to double down, misleading other posters, who possibly haven't read everything, and don't realise how mistaken you are.

I am not interested in picclick or anything else. I am not interested in your scoring either, I don't know what you are trying to pick faults in me, well I am not putting up with this. I am not wrongly claiming anything its fact, whatever has been has been removed without any of my knowledge of it being there in the first place. I am not interested what happened 21 years ago. I live for the moment and loosing a mother during covid has made me more determined to live a full life, without big brother watching me. If you have never lost a parent you would never know.
I am only interested in having a good account, without you publishing uncalled for nonsense.
My account has nothing to do with Customer Services telling me untruth information which I offered to put out what I was told in the first place, not this whole thing has ended up a slagging match who is better and who is not, I dont think that way but maybe you get a kick out of picking faults in people that are just living for the moment.
Please stop this now.

You have been told, time and time again, by people more knowledgeable, and with more experience than I have, that customer services often give incorrect information. You have also been around on these boards for some time, so you know this to be the case.
It has been shown to you that eBay's published practices do not align with what you claim you were told by customer services.
I don't doubt that customer services did mention 30 days to you and possibly to other callers too. However, that was clearly WRONG information, and, instead of accepting that, you continue to double down on your claims. It is nothing at all to do with who is better, and who is worse, but it would be a massive help if you would simply admit that you may have been given dodgy information. That's all.

Royal mail seems to be past its sell by date. Keeps putting up prices because of declining volumes, however they can't hit there targets with these reduced volumes. Half the time they don't scan, either because they don't have time or so the parcel isn't 'late'. Even when they scan you wonder what they are playing at, my latest package is going round in circles. Tracked 48 and its been to Glasgow mail 3 times already.

did you get paid yet? 18 days since your post so guessing you have 22 days left to wait
or maybe you got paid on 14 days like suggested
please let us know 💸

Hmm. Hopefully it isn’t damaged, repeat scans at the same depot over 3 separate days is unusual.

It's not very unusual if either;
1) The parcel is unusually large and/or heavy (drivers don't want the hassle)
2) The delivery address is a bit "out of the way", so it is held back until there are other deliveries nearby
Of course, it could be damaged, as you suggest. Normally, such packages should be secured as well as possible, and delivered no more than one day late. I have just gone through exactly this situation, coincidentally with a Glasgow Mail Centre too.

Just noticed this post which matches my own recent experience.
I got paid after two weeks because Royal Mail didn't scan an item sent 48hr Tracked. Phoned RM to complain, they sent me a claim number saying I would get a refund of postage, it never came.
Contacted Ebay saying my buyer has left feedback proving delivery but no, they said their system says non delivery so I would have to wait 30 days for payment. Perhaps the call handler got his facts wrong as my payment came in two weeks.
23 years on Ebay and getting very frustrated with their new rules.
I may have to go back to Evri as their tracking seems to be more reliable and also try Vinted for selling.

"I may have to go back to Evri as their tracking seems to be more reliable and also try Vinted for selling."
In terms of scanning yes, but Evri also have a habit of leaving them wherever they want whereas Royal Mail generally deliver to door.
So whilst you gain potential payment speed you also open yourself up for far more INR claims.

I recently sent 3 separate parcels by 2nd class....and uploaded the receipt barcode on the listings. Posted all the same time on the same day.
Two delivered.....money due in a couple of days
The thrird one..........nothing so will have to wait the 14 days for that one

Then your issue is with RM not ebay surely

I'm starting to think there should be a big banner at the top of these forums saying
' DON'T believe a word CS say- they talk rubbish. Ask on here instead!'
The lack of knowledge, training and simple honesty on CS is staggering.

Have you heard the expression "a confused enemy is easily played"?
After all the examples we've seen here, do you honestly believe that it isn't deliberate?
If the spread misinformation constantly most will never know what's happening.

ebay seem to have a policy for CS
On Mondays - agree with the caller and tell them they are wonderful
On Tuesdays - empathise with the caller and tell them there is nothing they can do
On Wednesdays - listen to the caller and explain a policy that is not related to the callers issue
On Thursdays - inform the caller that they understand their problem and refer them to the automated system
On Fridays - don't listen to the caller and read the answer written in the office tombola
On Saturdays - inform the customer that someone will ring them back with an answer on Monday
Seems fair enough to me, most callers go away happy confused perplexed and none the wiser
