Latest blow to postage - Evri and Inpost.

Well I came across this last night in person.

Having hardly sold a thing for weeks I had a sale of an instruction manual for a device. Put it in a mailer. printed my usual Evri Lable.

Drove to sainsburys , scanned it on the inpost locker and got a label not recognsed.

Drove to  next locker and again label not recognised.

it was getting close to 9Pm and the Evri shop closing, but I made it and dispatced the parcel.

a month ago I was revelign in the fact that 3 new inpost lockers were springing up localy..

a month later Evri and Inpost have seemingly ditched their partnership....

So now all my dispatches have to go to the parcel shop, have to be done before 9PM and has limited my yet further in my ability to get parcels out the door quickly, which is now imperetive to get paid.

The last 2 months feels like a slide towards everything being just too hard and unjustifiable ..  And this seems to be affecting multiple on-line platforms...

Is this the begining of the rise of the high street?

"Second Hand Shops" all but died out in the 80's ( save for charity shops) ... Is there a new age comming?

That's awful for you, i get mine collected by RM as can't get to Post Office or lockers. Doesn't matter now not selling anything on here anyway the BPF killed it dead so won't be here much longer.

Our high street is awful nothing but charity shops, not even a bank anymore

You’re lucky with your store. Apparently everytime I go into the evri parcel shop before 9am - the bag is full come back later.
so I go later bag is full we have had no collection. And this goes on all day.
Some days I’m not well to go up and down to the store.
So now I have to go into town and post at the evri counter in post office.
which seemingly is quicker to do and the item arrives next day.
