The Royal Mail online postage site allows sellers to choose not to display their home address on the delivery label when sending out items to buyers. Now that we have to use Simple Delivery, the Simple Delivery Royal Mail labels appear to show seller addresses as standard. Does anyone know how to turn this off like you can when purchasing postage directly from Royal Mail online? I don't feel it's right for ebay to be publishing this information on labels, and it seems very unnecessary now that ebay are responsible for items once they have entered the Royal Mail system.

Unfortunately with SD you are no longer able to recover the cost of the pen ink within your postage costs so if you did that it would be at your own costs 🙂
Maybe we should get some tiny address labels printed to stick ontop with ebay's HQ address to deal with any failed deliveries? Again not recoverable but probably worth it.

Good idea. eBay say they are trying to add the RM 'bring my label' option to SD which is my main complaint. I shall mention the address visibility issue, as they don't seem to know that these very useful choices are available when purchasing postage on the Royal Mail website.

Ebay help pages for Simple Delivery have:
"How can I ensure my item is properly packaged?
Clearly label the package on a flat surface and include a return address."
If an item is not "properly packaged" then Ebay take no responsibility for it

Yep..... ebay's address! as per @akemp1 above 😂😂
It doesn't say the seller's address, does it 😈 ?
(No of course I'm not serious, but it would be a laugh...)
