You can't delete posts.

You can quote using the " symbol when you have hit reply.

If you wish to delete what you have written there is only a small window to do it,  I believe it's either 5 or 10 minutes,  then it's fixed.

Go top right of your post, after posting,  to the little down arrow and from down menu select Edit.

Yes, I had done that actually and thought I had posted it, but next thing I noticed it was still in draft form and time had 'expired'.  When I did the edit, all I did was delete all I had written and replaced with text: "comment deleted".  Would that have worked?

What else I did was report my post for 'Inappropriate Content' in the hopes a moderator would delete it.  I asked them to do so.

What I'm wanting to do is when I hit reply to have the post I'm replying to automatically quoted, not to have to manually select text and put quotations marks around it.  Is that what you were suggesting I do?

Or to highlight what ever it is I want to reply to and have that automatically appear when I hit reply.
